tesco are selling a 15.4" one for £64. Is this worth it?
I'd imagine it wouldn't last too long even if it wasn't.
yeah, go for it.
If not, no. Don't go for it.
You may as well just iPlayer everything on your laptop.
i looked into playing console games on my laptop screen but apparently its shit. Dunno, just want something cheap, is it likely to fall apart then?
If you're looking at gaming you may find it's a bit rubbish for that stuff. I mean, £64 implies it's very cheap. You get what you pays for and all that.
would that be ok for gaming?
I guess it would depend on if it could connect to the console, the contrast ratio and the update speed.
our main telly is a 14" bush tv/vcr portable. sometimes we iplayer stuff on our laptop if it's not on virgin's watch again.
admittedly i'd not buy one as small if i was getting a new one.
don't have any.
confision over whether i was just talking about a bedroom telly or summats.
you said main telly so I took that to mean you had more than one. I don't really have much else to say.
Except you probably aren't getting the best out of your anamorphic DVDs.
stuff not being visible on the edge of the screen is beginning to be an ever more frequent radge
You need to get into your TV's service menu to fix that.
Not even necessarily a particularly old one.
it's been 'refurbished' by tesco apparently.
when they turn off the analogue signal?
i thought the reason its cheap woulda been the size and the fact that it was refurbished.
I wouldn't have it as my main TV, but £64 sounds good.
Of course, it's only a bargain if you wanted one in the first place.
ah, didn't F5.
