Don't think anyone's arsed.
Not really, but whatever. Take That seemed to have turned into Muse. Very odd performance.
I have literally not heard one person mention it.
Fucking Michael Shields.
and suddenly looked and thought some fight had broken out at the Brits, thought things had got exciting for once.
Turned out it was some wanks performance.
So your usual Brits watcher wouldn't really have known actual albums from last year.
Hence taking two from the year previous. Or something like that.
Not that Gervais' jokes at the Golden Globes were amazing but you know what I mean don't you yeah
Lulu? The Ting Tings? Pretty fucking cutting edge, Mastercard.
Why is he famous??? Has as much charisma as a badgers arse.
He just seems really special, didn't really know what he was doing.
Didn't know what 'German' meant, has a habit of walking into doors. I get the impression he'd probably be curiously sticking his fingers into light sockets if he didn't have his creepy entourage of PR men looking after him.
Let's not pick on the autistic kid.
Nope, but then again, this place still hasn't recovered from the shock of Arcade Fire by The Suburbs-gate yet.
I loathe their image and music
Hence them being decked out in Burberry clobber both tonight and at The Grammy's.

but there's something interesting going on when people, and from the frenzied retweeting I'm seeing in this post-whoisarcadefire world this isn't isolated, plain haven't heard of artists who've sold a shitload of records and been all over daytime Radio 1.
To answer the OP: I didn't. I was out last night so didn't see it. The first mention I saw of it was when I glanced at the TV listings in the Metro yesterday morning. Quite odd cos you usually get a big heads up about it. I spose never watching ITV means I've missed the adverts. Radio 2 is on at work ttho and I'd have expected some mention of it by Steve Wright or whatever.
All this 'ho is arcade fire?' stuff is fair enough. They're massively massively avoidable and forgettable unless you make an active effort to follow. Actually, the same even applies to half of us jumped up indie pricks).
But not knowing who Mumford & Sons are? They've been all over Radios 1 & 2 (and presumably haven't been shunned totally by commercial radio). They've had a sequence of big hits. They're nailed on as the just about the first mention on any TV festival highlights roundup programme. And (whether you like 'em or not) it'd be daft to claim they're not pretty distinctive sounding, as far as yer actual popular music goes.
I guess some people's exposure to music really must be ultra ultra narrow. Rihanna, Gaga, Bieber, Cowell's TV-assisted projects, and not much else apart from whatever vocoder/autotune track is flavour of the week.
I will always be there for you just wanted to say I am sorry x
That was all worthwhile.
Apparently Laura Marling was named best British female - was that expected?
I thought she was pretty niche, has she got a bigger profile these days?
to give out a couple of awards to 'alternative' artists so they can continue to stake a barely-credible claim to being about more than just chart fodder...the national were nominated for best international group i believe
Was it even advertised?
