if one was wanting to go on a strict diet what would be some good meals to make?
so for meat skinless chicken is probably the healthiest. Veg go for carrots. Fruit is harder cos its the nasty ass grapefruit thats the winner i believe.
just a bitch to sort out with all the spooning and cutting around the edges.
Plenty of fruit and veg and protein ie white meat (or if you're a veggie like me quorn)
Also swap biscuits for jaffa cakes as they have 1 gram of fat.
Everything in moderation.
Soup too. great way to get your five a day.
but the only weigh about 2 grams!
something to do with metabolism..?
I'm a carbaholic. Potatoes, pasta etc...
My mum would put poratoes with everything because they're cheap and versatile.
in different outfits now
and less/no dairy.
get your protein from white meat/fish/quorn.
and yeah obvs no junk food.
fish for some good recipes.
I've just deleted ten even worse puns. Count yourself lucktosintolerate.
I thought it would be too shellfish to post them all.
Fruit is actually very high in sugar.
Its all about the veg.
Skinless white meat. Brown rice. Green veg. Less sugar.
How about wholegrain rice steamed in coconut milk, with chicken and vegetables? yum.
but i remember reading that its natural saturated fat - easily metabolised by your body. or something.
it tastes so bad that i think it MUST be healthy.
THEY'RE REALLY BAD FOR YA
Brown rice/ pasta
Thats pretty much it
you trying to tell me eating lots of tomatoes is a bad idea?
Tomato is a fruit son!
No idea why I said green veg tbh, with vegetables, lots of colour is a good thing.
I just stick to broccoli mostly so that must be why I said green.
i've been eating loads recently in the form of diagaku imo
it's ridiculously good
and a healthyish dessert although i dip mine in soy sauce so it's quite savoury
sounds tasty actually. might try it.
but you're not listening to me. there are other things that need to be taken into account here. like the whole spectrum of human emotion. you can't just lump everything into these two categories and then just deny everything else!
there is indeed magic food that will make you healthy, and get rid of the need to actually do the hard work at being healthy, and staying that way
just drink some wheatgrass juice. problem solved
pretty sure food is the major factor in being healthy and i wouldnt call it magic food, its just healthy food. Are you proposing there isnt food which is healthy for you by itself?
Just a whole apple with jam smeared around it would be obscene.
Except when I try to tempt my neighbours with them.
You need to use tofu thats been pressed and drained. Fry up a red onion and two cloves of garlic in a wok in about a tbs of oil then add chopped up veg (i use mushrooms, courgette and aubergine) cook the veg for about 5 mins then start breaking up and crumbling the tofu so its a similar texture to scrambled eggs. Add as much curry powder as you want then cook until the tofu is nice and firm. Good on its own or cold in pita bread the next day. Lots of protein and stuff too so it keeps you full (y)
i dont remember veganism being so delicious..
Don't think that's very healthy though.
Can't stand it when it's all raw and wobbly
My typos seem to be getting worse
Always good to have around; I eat truckloads of the stuff. It's delicious and incredibly healthy.
