According to some scientists on Radio 5, the best hangover cure is painkillers and caffeine.
i'd go slightly further:
- pint of water plus painkillers, preferably taken in the early hours (e.g. 6am), then
- back to sleep, then
- at least two cups of tea (or other caffeinated product), then
- a not-too-hot shower, then
- fresh air.
plus second dose of piankillers a few hours after the first dose.
job done - hangover gone by lunch.
