What are you up to?
If not, sucks to be you.
you're just not satisfied until my self-esteem is rock bottom are you? classic Virgo.
I'm also in work, but only for another 20 minutes!
when they look wide-eyed and freaked out and run away
deer know what's going on
obviously. Four of them.
I'm watching situation-comedies and eating pringles and dips.
I bought wine to have a little celebration at some news but then Trish from Broadcast died so now I don't feel like any celebrating :(
In better news I'm going out to get drunk tomorrow. How are you?
You've just reminded me that I have a tube of pringles in my cupboard. Sour Cream and Chive, natch.
I'm okay, I'm just going to put on the office and crawl into bed. I'm going to be turning off all my electrical appliances tonight so I can hopefully sleep all night (been very difficult this past 2 weeks).
I've heard that if you turn everything off, it'll help you sleep. I'm gonna turn my phone off too as I find myself laying in the dark at 3am mooching about on blogs.
knocks you out cold for a good seven hours. Feel a bit groggy the next day but anything is better than constant insomnia.
Sour cream indeed. Beautiful things they are, although I should really stop eating now.
I haven't slept at all this week but I was up at 5.30 this morning so I'm hoping that and a bottle of wine will send me into a deep slumber.
Oh and now I'm going to have to watch the office :D
They are clearly the best ones though but highly addictive. I could easily eat a whole tube in a day.
I've had a terrible week of sleeping. Every night I have been unable to fall asleep until about 3am. Its crazy annoying. I'm sure a bottle of wine will definitely help you sleep tonight.
:D my season 4 box set arrived today! Very excited about watching it all again.
I've been the same, at least 3am every day it's wrecking my head. Same as you said up there about staring at the clock too, easily the worst thing ever.
Oh wait, you meant the american office? I've never watched it... Should I? Do you like the UK one?
talking to a mate on email and trying to navigate gazillions of job websites.
And bitching about my former mother-in-law, which is always fun.
I went shopping - got some black velvet shorts but I'm not 100% keen on them. Now I'm just sitting in bed, ready for a mini Office US marathon.
don't talk to me about clothes shopping. Looked at 1537 dresses on a website sale last night and found 3 that I moderately liked but haven't ordered. Annoyed myself :(
Get some funky tights to make them look good?
now drinking and listening to Cadence Weapon. might play some very old video game sooooooooon.
nb, living my life is no more exciting than reading about it
i was enjoying the new series of fringe alot but i wish they didnt keep having all these breaks
they're moving it to Friday nights in the US which is annoying
we should hang out sometime
yes we should
i was just a little confused. and probably drunk. i had been there since the start!
The only problem is staying in on Friday night so often as to notice this.
did anyone ever find out where Tom Vek disappeared to?
i wanna hear those fake demos that someone sent to record labels
I was thinking about it earlier - how do you gauge sales of an album? And how would you guess how much profit an artist has made from it?
Maybe he made 100k and thought 'fuck this business, that's 2k a month for the next 50 years added to my salary'.
Or maybe it's a cunning ploy to make people so desperate to hear new material that he'll make gazillions on the next release/tour.
Anyone's guess really.
Now I'm editing photos and listening to Slint. Considering maybe stopping for the night and watching some of the Werner Herzog box I got for Christmas. My flatmate is mooching about complaining of Swine Flu. He gets no sympathy from me.
<3 <3 <3
On headphones tonight, but I was listening to it on the stereo earlier this week and the bass was shaking the floor B)
christ, what sort of speakers do you have?!
It IS a pretty bassy album towards the end though, in that sort-of distorted, Microphones/Mt Eerie way.
Or it might just have been cos my feet were next to the sub.
I think it's probably your foot. But my speakers are pretty bass-tastic too so I'm gonna check it out tomorrow.
But yes, I am too indie for TV. By a long, long way.
this has become a very regular occurrence. Not doing owt except pissing around on the internet i guess.
exams make me too nervous to sleep so I imagine it'll be getting a fair few listens through tonight
Practicing on friday is a bit weird, it's usually a gf night.
Wish I had some doughnuts though, tesco express is closed and rubbish but the only local convenience shop. I hate them so much. >:(
- Listening to: A Ryan Adams live bootleg i just downloaded called 'Live At The Playhouse', which I'm pretty sure was his first post-9/11 gig. It's not much cop.
- Watching: Season 7 of Curb. <3 Leon so much :'D
- Eating: Leftover Christmas cake
- Drinking: Diet Coke atm, though I'm eyeing up an unopened bottle of Disaronno.
it's not very good. You've made me want to listen to Ryan though...
from the Borderline in late 2006.
if you get that you can hear me talking to him about dissolving your teeth in cola, and him improving a song about the conversation.
(best moment of my life-centric)
Thats you?! Dude you've been in my life for the last five years...and now here you are...
I'm a little bit in awe of you.
that was me.
the best bit was, every time he sang that bit that's all "YOU CAME ALONG AND RUINED MY DREAMS" or whatever, he looked me directly in the eyes. it was probably the most hilariously awkward thing ever.
also, the bluegrass "neal casal has gone for a pee" improve <3
...I can tell why people had high expectations for Easy Tiger. Tears Of Gold sounds especially lovely there.
Guntrip - that's such a great story, good on ya. And yeah the Pee improv is incredible.
I saw him a couple of days before that at End Of The Road fest. Met ryan and neal that night actually, fun times. Neal Casal is a dude.
forgot how good this game is. i'm doing a no revive run of it though, so wish me luck. i'm going to need it.
don't forget to save the baby birdman, otherwise you can't get all the characters!!1
where we each do a battle or whatever. just throwin' that out there.
I have the actual cartridge!
otherwise he just becomes a slow, weak bastard
the crystal flowers battle = epic
I don't know if I was aware of this.
if you leave it for a while it sends you to a secret battle where you re-fight all of the greater devils. it's REALLY hard, as you might expect.
i love stuff like that. oh man oh man oh man
I would probably chicken out of that though
poor kazin :( RIP
and now I'm going to listen to Radiohead (in the hope it'll provoke some kind of existential crisis).
because of my illogical boiler
i can't watch anymore from these humourless drobs. all is forgiven paul morley...
not even lovely kirsty can save it tonight.
GOOD JOB I RECORDED THAT THING ON SISTER ROSETTA THARPE, EH?
spent too long trying to google street view the house, all i had was "north london". apparently there's loads of houses in north london. it's here though: http://tinyurl.com/6kfz3jf
then watched lost omg it's so good (yeah i know i'm like 5 years behind, whatever).
(exclamtion mark is in the title)
it's a game I played as a kid, strategy game. You plan and execute robberies, with the levels getting tougher as it goes on. you got tools, accomplices, getaway vehicles...its aces.
