Why are toasters so bad at doing what they're designed to do? We've got one cos our grill takes ages to get hot. The bread doesn't even fit in it. You end up having to flip the bread over and toast the remaining white end which means the bit that's already been toasted will end up overly toasted. The settings as well. Why do they even let you turn it all the way up to 9 when that'd obviously reduce bread to complete charcoal? Have we just got a shit toaster?
