This may not be popular, or it may disappear, but I found the auction results quite interesting.
Only six of the 15 man World Cup winning squad were bought, Shah and Mascarenas weren't in that team, Swann, Anderson, Wright, Prior, Sidebottom, Bresnan and Bopara were unsold, as well as Bell, Trott and Tremlett. I'm guessing some of them didn't make themselves available for the whole tournament, and some of them also set themselves at the highest base price, but it's still quite surprising no one wants them. Maybe it's to do with their lack of experience in playing t20 in India.
The two finalists last year (Mumbai Indians and CSK) retained four players, unsurprisingly. And the Indians have got Pollard and Symonds, so they're clearly going to be the most exciting team.
