Computer help
Hello. I'm quite bummed out right now, so if you could provide any help, that would be hugely appreciated. For Christmas, I received a fancy pair of Bluetooth speakers. I paired them with my laptop okay, but when it came to actually getting music to come out of them, I failed miserably. So I tried to update the driver for my laptop's built-in Bluetooth, only to be told the update wasn't applicable to my system (it definitely should have been). So I decided to uninstall the old driver and start from scratch, but now I'm either being told to turn my Bluetooth on - which I can't, because I have no software installed for it - or the same thing I was being told before, about the update not being applicable.
What should I do? Before I uninstalled the old driver, I checked to see the hardware was working properly in device manager, and it said it was. Does that seem like a lie? If I reformat my laptop, should the old driver autoinstall or could I be left with the same problem? Obviously I don't want to reformat for nothing - I barely want to reformat to get it working - and time is somewhat of the essence if I'm going to try to get a refund for the speakers. Help me please :'(
