WANT. SO. BAD.
...laugh a lot. The memories.
"The new AMIGA 2000 is the most expandable model of the AMIGA desktop range. Weighing in at 12.5kg"
Magnetically locking ports and card reader door, drive cage rubber vibration grommits, screw driver, handling gloves, user guide.
Handling gloves. Bit 'Look Around You' innit
I love it.
'commodore USA' have tried this a couple of times over the last 3 or so years.
First they announced a a new Amiga but it was just a pic they stole from some clipart. When people actually ordered the machine it was a pc in one of those all in one cases.
Same for this.
as long as you don't expect anything more, it's not so bad. kinda like the PCs in an NES case type things that people sometimes knock up.
*difficult to actually tell how the Amiga Workbench thing is dealt with
it's windows with an emulator preinstalled.
Not even auto booting..
as in it is a bog standard windows machine and you just open the c64 app.
Like you can anyway on any PC
i thought there might be some locked down version of linux running an emulator or summats. If it's just a case of 'There's a link to an emulator on the Windows desktop', that takes some of the cool factor away, to say the least.
it's a fun project.
But these guys are trying to make easy cash pretending it's somethign it isn't.
Having said that at least eth c64 has some aesthetic value while the 'amiga' one was simply a bog standard pcinone case.
But pc in retro case is a fun project.
This is my fave
Can someone explain? Is it like a new Amiga, or an emulator with other shit included or what?!
Disappointing. I might just dig out my old 1meg Amiga 500 and play Wings and Jaguar XJ220 all night.
Where you kept a diary and it skipped between dogfighting/bombing/train shooting missions? If so that is still the best game ever
