I'm enjoying this. But it makes me scared of job interviews.
Joanna got torn apart.
was absolutely priceless.
It's a stupid application form which asks you questions which practically beg for a stupid response.
I quite liked the nipple joke.
for a tv show. So they'll put things on to make them standout and look like they'll be interesting on camera.
The interview round always ends up making me actually like the contestants.
after ripping them to shreds.
He's an utter pelvis.
but I like him out of it. His face when his cog metaphor fell to pieces was great.
He was so dim, bless him.
LOL'd so hard...
then Lord Sugar is a complete idiot. Still he proved himself to be an idiot by firing Liz last week, so...
right decision. Good, but not for the role here.
Sometimes I fancy him quite a lot. Sometimes not
But I think the right decision.
He was a useless cunt. Not saying Jamie is but it raises my suspicions.
they should blank out his face
I believe he was charged with mortgage fraud this week. Not a great advert for the industry.
and make some beautiful kids
We'll see what happens.
If you're reading this, please sign up and send me a PM and we'll get married okay?
hugs and kisses
he DOESN'T look like a spotty teenager and DOESN'T sound like he has lockjaw?
He always speaks with his head tilted sideways, as if ready to evade one of the poor people trying to bite him on the face.
Dreamy eyes tho.
He's completely hot. I like that lockjaw look at I like that you don't really see his teeth much but you can tell they're a little bit large and maybe gappy?
Preludes - THE EYES. They're like swimming pools on a hot summers day. I could swim in them for years.
Such a pretty shade of blue, but there's nothing there.
The pale stubble does nothing for me either.
tbh, I've never fancied anyone blonde (apart from stuart broad obvs) so he's quite a rare one for me. I do prefer a dark haired man with dark stubble though but still, he's hot.
i'd still probably suck him off
Fantastic, epic television. The Baggs firing was one of the best things I've ever seen. I thought the two finalists were obvious after the first round of interviews.
Karen Brady is unexpectedly beautiful.
And Baggs is a total king.
they're often rubbish but that was quite well thought out.
Yes, Karen Brady was looking really rather nice. Much better than on the main programme, not that she looked bad then. I think she's lost weight and changed her hair.
But still - http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00796/karren-brady460_796001c.jpg - would.
there I was for the last ten weeks thinking Karen Brady was a moody, sour faced frump then all of a sudden she rocks up on your fired tonight looking quite lovely.
I'm trying to work out if it was the lighting, the hair-do or something indefinable that I will never understand
Obviously shelled out for some veneers recently. She was also talking out of one side of her mouth, must have been botox?
Still, she looked amazing.
and these gimps came across better. i'm a complete failure.
for 'The Brand' at the finish.
Of course he's a cock but he's 21 and I cant help but feel he was stitched up with some of those quotes and some heavy and clever editing.
The production team set the trap and he walked straight into it like the naive, arrogant kid he is.
Oh well we've all had a good laugh at his expense now and it was great TV
The BRAND got owned as we were all hoping he would be. Jamie is a complete cock and a chancer who didn't deserve to be placed 3rd.
My eyes were actually watering a bit when Joanna got fired. Was she right for Sugar? No. But she clearly works hard and proved that she is probably going to be the most 'ambitious' of the 'losers'.
Stella to win I reckon but its going to be close.
the tearing up at joanna
in fact im not gonna write a proper post i agree with pretty much everything there^^^
i.e. "Do you not think you're a bit old for a change?", or words to that effect. And the repeated attempts to paint her as "just a PA" and "good at admin, I suppose", when that clearly wasn't the case.
"I know a lot about technology." ... "ISP stands for Internet Service Protocol". Er...
Yeah, Baggs had an ISP licence (or whatever) and maybe puffed it up a bit. But as far as I could tell he'd hardly indulged in actual fraud like we've seen before when people had lied about having a degree (and, I think, managed to win).
Focussing on the licensing issue just seemed like lame nitpicking that was massively engineered so as to play up to the pre-determined narrative of the show. So the whole thing ended up as a complete let-down in terms of Baggs getting his arse handed to him. The "You're not even a fish" line was really naff. The Brand has clearly made a few quid in his back yard by knowing his market.
Anyway, if I was in an interview and they tried on any of the shit that they were going for I'd tell 'em to git tae fuck and get the hell out of there.
whole lying about his competitor going bust to the media, which I thought was actually against the law.
Also, Baggs is full of shit. I'm going make you a GAZILLION POUNDS and we can all have our field of ponies.
But the bellyaching over the licensing thing was invalid fuel to the 'full of shit' fire.
And for Bordan Tkachuk - a Chief Executive of a limited IT company* to fuck up over the definition ISP, and LET IT GET BROADCAST is pretty staggering. And, as I said, Chairman Claude Littner of the same company didn't cover himself in glory with his shoddy attitude.
*A company that relies on milking schools and the public sector for vast portions of it's profits. Aside from that, Sugar has basically retreated into the relative safety of the property market. Not quite the ruthless wheeler-dealer player of the free market we're supposed to believe. So for all this talk of Stella being 'too corporate', Sugar and Amprop's interests hardly seem like a home of Dragons Den style dynamicism and innovation. They should cut the high flyer business pretence and just concentrate on turning the show into the Del-boy style hustler comedy game show it wants to be. That'd be more honest and enjoyable.
To know if Bordan was right or wrong. Nor do I particularly care.
But you don't need to be to know that he was wrong with his definition of ISP - a very basic term for a self proclaimed authority on technology to know of. My dad could tell you what an ISP is.
And he was massively labouring the somewhat incidental point about whether he was "fully licensed" or merely "licensed". Bordan appeared to be happy to accept the latter, but nonetheless pressed regarding the former.
The whole "We've spoken to a bloke and they've never heard of you" schtick didn't ring true at all, either.
Add to that the 'fish' thing, when Baggsy has clearly and legitimately made a few bob on the IoM (regardless of irrelevant licensing nity gritty).
The whole nonsense exposed the Viglen crew as a set of bullshitting chumps in comparison to The Brand's merely innocuous bravado. And the programme was all the worse for it.
The debagging of Baggs was like using a glass sledgehammer to crack a peanut that's claiming it's a walnut - stupidity all round.
the isp thing was a massive fail by Bordan
i still don't understand why not one of the contestants had done any research on alans portfolio, a bit of research and you could have some good banter in those intereviews regarding his current 'business' success
anyways, my school mates bates is in the final, think he wins
but with Joanna, specifically, it looked like it had never occured to her to even do a cursory 10 minutes of background reading on ol' fuzzychops' backstory and current business interests.
my point was that I don't think people will want to pick someone who's 'hilariously rubbish' for their team, unless the task is to do the casting for an episode of The Office.
I bet Chris and Stella would rather be a person down than pick that disaster.
if he lied on his CV...shouldn't that have been addressed before he even got on the show??
He told a half truth. Which is what everyone does on their CV and is no doubt what everyone else on the show did on theirs. In a previous series of The Apprentice someone was caught telling an outright lie and it wasn't taken so seriously. The final should've been Stella and Stuart, although Sugar even said that there is no position for Stella in his company. Chris has only worked for 9 months, has a joke degree and gets by on his looks to an extent and calm demeanor. There's no doubt in my mind that Stuart will ultimately be many times more successful than Chris.
"I don't want no steady Eddy". Chris is steddy eddy. Stuart as you imply is completely volatile and a risk taker. I thought he would value that above Chris.
Sir Alan is a Sugar Puffs man.
It's exactly what sold Sugar on Baggs over Liz last week.
Now Sugar has apparently turned around and decided he's not happy with Baggs cos of some trumped up bollox about some irrelevant specifics to do with the description over exactly what licencing The Brand has in the IoM compared to the one line description of it in his application.
Just that Sugar keeps banging on about car salesman type traits as opposed to people who are 'too corporate' whenever he spends more than 30 seconds in the presence of Stella.
has just become a convenient stick to beat Stella with every week. I didn't see her being 'corporate' when she was asked to model for the Kooli thing. I think Sugar et al just say it because they can't think of anything in particular they don't like about her.
Rather than the fact that Baggs told a reporter one of his competitors was going bust, when he wasn't?
But they seemed to spend a lot of time banging on about the minor licensing issue, compared to the apparently shoddy smear tactics.
