That is all of my knowledge of him though.
Well done A. Khan. You do have a decent chin after all. That body shot knockdown in the 1st was phenomenal - i felt like vomming just looking at Maidana's reaction.
Khan's movement and speed and accuracy were as usual impeccable, but he matched this up with some of the more macho elements of boxing and he pretty much looks unbeatable. Maidana is very heavy handed for his weight class and Khan took more punishment than he needed to, but i think it has done him a lot of good psycholgically and i look forward to seeing his career unfold now (plus the americans were loving him!).
Also was impressed with James De Gale. Had a lot of reservations about him but he performed very well against Paul Smith and lookl forward to seeing him fight again, along with Kell Brook who, although hyped, does seem to have a lot of talent and power.
However, Macklin and Bellew are both bums.
That's all (i heart boxing)
There's the small matter of Haye v Klitschko in Vegas in April looking more likely as a result of Del Boy Chisora's fight being cancelled. That'd be amazing.
If things go according to plan, he should fight both Klitschkos next year and we will also have the semis and final of the super six, and, dare i say it, pacquiao v mayweather which even just thinking about makes me well up a little bit. 2011 should be amazing for boxing.
Great to see Khan battling away, refusing to give up
