Tomorrow is our unofficial work Christmas do, a bunch of staff have organised it themselves to go out to a decent pub and have a few drink/inevitable drunkeness.
The problem is, my immediate boss, who started a couple of months ago and who I'm pretty sure is a horrendous person, has asked to stay at my place (I live in walking distance of the pub, he lives in another county). Or rather, he hasn't asked, he just said "It'll be alright if I crash I at your, won't it?"
There is no practical problem with him staying over, my annoyance is just that I don't really like him and don't want him in my space, inevitably interrupting what will be my last lie-in before Christmas by forcing me to wake on Saturday and be polite and make him a cup of tea, etc.
I'm considering making an excuse and not going just to avoid it.
Or am I being a completely unreasonable dick?
