Ask me anything, go on then.
Also - do you have anything you want to ask me?
What's your favourite jam?
especially now that they have put eclairs into the heroes tin.
bramble and apple, for sure (mrs ccb actually made some of this a couple of months ago. it's lush).
just blackberries, right?
i don't know why we call it bramble and apple jam. it's her mum's recipe so it might be a scottish thing - not sure though.
i've always found it a bit un-dis liek.
i'll let brigitte know
wanna come to a lecture on time travel tonight? or see some bands tomorrow?
p.s. are you coming to bowlie?
this is amazing aarggghhhh
Extra question (can i be cheeky and have 2? Ta.): are you worried about getting to Bowlie2? We're due to fly down from Edinburgh on Thursday at 8:40am on sleazyjet. Not nearly as touch-and-go as the GY!BE crew, I suppose.
A little bit. I'm getting a train back at my parents' next Wednesday and then making my way from there though, so I'm more worried about just getting to the South. Do you mean Friday by the way?
And now 1. :
Monday: Duck egg blue. Monday, blue, Blue Monday, yeah.
Tuesday: Pistachio green. You wouldn't choose Tuesday, you wouldn't choose pistachio green.
Wednesday: Yellow. Yellow!
Thursday: Maroon. I like Thursdays, I like maroon.
Friday: BRIGHT RED. LET'S GO NUTS IT'S FRIDAY
Saturday: Silver. Girls wearing sparkly dresses.
Sunday: Magnolia. Boring, but that's fine.
A fine answer.
PS: We've plumped for the Thursday night In Between Days thingumy. I think travel is gonna be ok, just as long as we don't get a crazy comeback on the snow front.
wtf, come on, domestic flights? i thought better of you.
also, you know edinburgh airport has been closed for days? i'd say you could stay here on wednesday night if you wanted to make it easier to get to the airport, but i'm not going to be here :(
Pretty lame. Train was the first choice, but the price was daft. The weekend and the start of next week are set to be snow free in Ed, apparently, so things should be ok. Thanks for the wed night offer - just leave the key under a plantpot, yeah*.
*we're gonna drive over early on Thur am cos it's gonna be an arse to do transport. domestic flight + convenience driving pretty much makes me the worst kind of person. :-(
Hope you get down to your folks without any hassle.
With an old fish bowl for a tear trap strapped to its ghost saddle, it moved slow like an excercise bike on an airport walkway.
could it take off?
The thrust of the plane acts on the air, and not on the ground.
I don't want another disaster travelling on my own.
I'm a bit scared though.
I'm all about Glasgow Prestwick WAAAT
It's a bit of a nightmare getting to Barcelona on trains, and although the actual bus journey was ok last year, the getting there at 4:30am and realising that I was effectively lost, with no phone battery, put me off travelling down on my own again. ALSO I'm going to America the day after I get back, so I think it'll be a good practice flight.
so chew on that
Stevenage or Edinburgh?
I went on a geography field trip to Stevenage once.
That field trip sounds amazing.
We went to PIN GREEN.
ALSO: CONGRATS ON YOUR MILESTONE x
i'll get back to you.
who are your biggest dis allies?
do you have any dis enemies? (I cannot imagine that you could have any enemies)
if i had to guess i'd say... i dunno, 30?
to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them?
that's 2 of the same questions that have appeared in my 'ask me anything' thread and this one. I'm disappointed guys, I really am.
it's all for the Wza's spreadsheet
I learned today that not everyone has a spreadsheet.
Can you repeat the question?
I mean, it's pretty bleak. If you picture your troubles as a 'sea' then what fucking good is 'taking up arms' going to do? It puts Hamlet in some kind of Knut-like doomed lunacy phase, hacking pointlessly at the waves. He's so fucked.
the ending of the troubles = 'not to be' (on a conventional interpretation), i.e. "ending" them by being finished off by them.
call me when you DIDN'T go to boarding school.
but i'm not sure that i'll be here when you are :(
if so will you make me another t-shirt? it'll be my 21st if that helps motivate/guilt you!
it depends how much work i have to do, i have so much this year :( and i guess that applies to the tshirt too... but if you have a special request i'll try to get one done over christmas or something :D
Remember that time when you stepped in dog poo? LOL!
that never happened
Foley. Easy mistake to make!
to reply to every question you were asked in your own?
(cheap gag no offence)
