Tis a top film
Yet I'll record it purely on your say so
haven't seen the last 15 minutes of this or The Secret In Their Eyes
saw it at the cinema. Whole audience was pretty muted after it finished.
that was nearly as long as the original.
Except: "Fosters- sponsoring original comedy on Four"....

furryfan, out of interest, did they show the whole thing uncut? i don't know where the whole 'penetrative incest on TV in the name of art' stands at the moment...
I thought the (pull quote from) the New York Times review (that I've just yanked off Metacritic) summed it up best: "As much an exercise in perversity as an examination of it". Quite. 5 out of 10 is a bit generous, mind.
Great film though.
I rarely look away from a film, but I did then. Three times. Ouch. I missed the first hour though, didn't know what the fuck was going on.

half of me thinks it was an excercise in restrained brilliance...the other thinks it was just decent, but not great.

i dunno. is it a metaphor? i bet it's a metaphor.
great performances, mind.
i'm half-joking, but it wouldn't suprise me.
I say 'supposedly' because... supposedly.
