*Disclaimer: I am not about to make anyone a cup of tea, so don't ask.*
taste a bit like tea-flavoured water?
I would only object for taste reasons.
it does taste a bit like weak tea.
Unless you're trying to save the environment...one teabag at a time.
i'll just have a cup while i'm waiting for this thread to appear
but it never really tastes great.
and reuse them again and again. Thanks to his penny-pinching ways, he was a millionaire.
He was also the saddest cunt I've ever seen.
I mean, drying out teabags will only make you a few quid a month.
It'll just mean you drink shit tea and no one will want to come round.
i drink about 10+ cups a day, so go through a box a week.
it won't 'make' you money. I worded that badly. It would save you money, which is kind-of the same thing.
In any case, I'm not advocating it - I just wondered how someone could become a millionaire from re-using teabags.
He applied that philosophy to every aspect of his life - he basically never spent any money he didn't have to, and thus accumulated a million pounds.
Pretty pointless considering he never spent it on anything, but as I've said, HE'S A MENTAL.
i'm try desperately to save some more money to bump up my christmas present budget, could do with some more tips
and therefore spent no money on presents.
He wouldn't bother with presents for a start. Things like not putting the heating on, just wearing more clothes... buying everything second hand... he didn't buy toilet paper, just cut up (free) newspapers.
He was a massive freak, basically.
what's the point in saving loads of money just to not spend it?
but not like english breakfast tea. I mean like chamomile or peppermint. I like my herbal teas weak anyway.
it's what i buy when i'm feeling a bit reckless, pg tips otherwise
but I normally just stick with the PG tips. My herbal teas are a different story. I get some teapig teas or some odd fancy brand from Waitrose.
but i have to keep them in my bedroom to stop other people thieving them.
I do the same as my brother thinks its good to brew a strong cup of my expensive tea to just go "yuck. don't like it" and tip it down the sink. I would happily spend £5 on a box of herby tea.
drinks very weak black tea, so she uses my tea bags after I am done to make hers with
