Self explanatory one this, favourite sit coms, ^this away!
peoples favourite maybe, but no way the best.
But I think I tried one once when everything was going wonky and it did nothing :(
he thinks birds may have teeth.
I can hear it being said in a slow, dramatic kind of way.
Is it not okay if it's just sitcoms that you like?
I didn't see this thread and immediately decide that Peep Show was definitely THE BEST SIT-COM OF ALL TIME. (Mainly I just wanted to get it in first.)
But, now that I look at everything else, it might be. I like Seinfeld but I'm not crazy about it like some people. Cheers is alright. Some of them are dubious inclusions - I like Futurama, but it's not really a sitcom is it?
Father Ted is the only one that runs it close for me. Arrested Development maybe too. Agh!
Because it's a cartoon?
being massively ironic yeah?
brilliant, brilliant stuff
If you think it's brilliant on your first watch through just wait till your 3rd or 4th
watched five episodes last night, and I'm hooked. Probably do another five or six tonight... Every episode is consistently funny with several belly laugh moments.
Can't believe it was made between 2003-2006 and I've only just got into it...Micheal Cera looks so young!
totally hooked. Gob <3
But I watch at least one episode of Seinfeld every night before/whilst I go to sleep. Having to choose between them (and also Curb) is devastatingly difficult.
It is layered to a ridiculous extent with plots and events being foreshadowed and teased massively when you watch with the benefit of hindsight, it absolutely amazes me how tightly plotted and clever the whole show is and you only get this from repeated viewing.
There's no other TV comedy show I can think of that rewards repeated viewing like it
I also find this in Pixar films. Theres always stuff you don't notice until you've watched it a few times.
cheers (not the programmae)
THEY DISGUST ME.
The musical episode and the one where Gaz wanks himself thin are amazing.
Plus Sheridan Smith is well fit
I was trying to press the reply button to add Futurama :'(
This times a million
Good work Seany T
But the last few episodes have been absolutely magnificent
Am I really the first to say this???
some of the shows at the top of the list suck.
Didn't put this here, so...
along with The Office, Blackadder and I'm Alan Partridge are my favourite sitcoms.
the best TV show I've seen in years. The second series isn't quite as good as the first but the final episode is just wonderful. Also, best music selection of any tv show ever.
It satisfied my 'too mature to lower myself for Friends' mantra
You're basically Mark though, so I can see why you wouldn't like it.
and I absolutely love it
*woo! woo! you're the man!*
but thanks though
it's fairly obvious
of a television phenomenon shocker.
the chip on his shoulder shocker.
It's up there I'm not going to lie
THAT'S NOT EVEN A WORRRD
what. the. fuck.
they have FIVE COMPANIONS EACH! and that's not even including Gunther and Fun Bobby.
but i still like friends. i could argue the toss about whether they lack compassion but whatever, can't be bothered.
you are getting very wound up about this
rather than insulting people who like Friends?

I wasn't a fan
I only watched the first season, though — ages ago. It had its moments, but I wouldn't ^This it, or nuthin'.
In all seriousness I would watch this if it was on.
On The Up
Pretty much unwatchable.
I watched it at the time and can therefore sincerely ^This with confidence
Some bits are horrendously dated, but bits like "Neil, your bed's on fire!" will never stop being funny.
that's a good one
if that doesn't win Anecdote Of The Day then I don't know what will.
once taught a law course to a group of leisure centre managers from Swindon. This pleased us.
then i went back and watched an episode a few weeks ago. I barely laughed once.
The first two seasons were great when they first came on. The 3rd was utter shite. I hate Noel Fielding now though. The soup song is still great. I'm actually having soup right now.
I can't remember. The one in the shop was where it got shit.
season 2 had some good bits (nanageddon)
there are other bits that are very funny.
Every time I mentioned soup my ex had to do the song.
But I'm going to.
There. I said it.
how I thought Darleen was the COOLEST girl ever
Roseanne - Series 1-9 [DVD]
Run Time: 5135 minutes (5 x 18 hr days).
Then go from Darleen to Daria.
The box set of that will take another 2 x 18 days, so that's a FULL week of viewing sorted.
and 'in loving memory'
When it's good, it's very good.
When it's bad, no thankyou madam.
although I think a friend told me recently that the last episode about a party is great.
Ahh that just brought me back a few years.
The spin off that pissed on the grace of the original
Surely? Opportunity missed.
Apparently I was wrong.
most of the comedy I've this'd is stuff that i either (a) watched when i was a kid or (b) watch on DVD box-set.
I watch a lot of box-sets, it seems!
as they don't have adverts breaking up the program. And you don't have to wait a week for the next episode.
that i won't stay up to watch. i need to be in bed by 11 on a weeknight else i will be tired and crabby. </rockandroll>
never mind the battle of the koreas; this was a sure a sign of the end times as any.
Daria that is, not you, TheWza
You mistyping, shit sitcom liking chumps.
i'd choose dad's army 9 times out of 10
tea, martin? Tea? TEA?
double hard bastards etc.
I think not
Nope. Fast show = sketch show.
massively ashamed for forgetting about this
