Rafael Vidic Evans Fabio
Nani Fletcher Gibson Obertan
Outrageous signings will not be tolerated.
Rafael Smalling Vidic Evra
Obertan Fletcher Morrison Cleverley
Nani and Hernandez have had an amazing 11/12 season and joined R. Madrid for a combined £58m all of which has gone on servicing the debt, turns out Ravel Morrison is the best player in the world though so all is well.
can just see Morrison imploding despite his immense potential.
Where he will follow the career path of Alex Notman. Heartbreaking stuff.
his injuries prior were apparently growth related, and similar to ones that Scholes had at the same age, so i'm hoping he is over it now.
unfortunately Pogba hasnt moved to the reserves with the form/confidence expected, but of course its early days.
He looks a fantastic player when fit
4-5-1's and players brought through from the youth team are probably going to be the way forward(or backwards) for us.
I also really don't like the look of him, for what it's worth.
Certainly think he's played his way ahead of Evans in the pecking order after his appalling start to the season
i'm hoping Evans picks things back up from the Rangers game onwards, looked like a dead cert for the first team 2 seasons ago.
he just looks comfortable on the ball, always looking to intercept and play the ball forward with his head up, and more of a DCM than a CB.

that Giovanni has the potential to be one of the top strikers around. I remember reading an article in which Ronaldinho referred to him as being 'the best player at the club' when they were both at Barca. Messi must have been off sick though!
will never be anywhere near the first team.
in the prem, obvs.
players still in the starting 11: schmeichel, howson, becchio, kisnorbo.
club, or a newly-promoted prem club. i'd be very happy to have him back when we're back with the big boys next year.
Zubar Berra Batth Malone
Kightly Henry(c) Guedioura Mujangi-Bia
Probably good enough to get us back up again straight away, but the rest of the squad would be paper thin.
Cummings Pearce Khavinashvilli Williams
Robson-Kanu Howard Tabb Antonio McAnuff
Murty Sonko Ingimarsson Shorey
Little Harper Sidwell Convey
welbeck looks like a huge talent. he'll surely be in the starting line up soon enough
Hopefully he'll make it with us but i'm just assuming he'll have a Frazer Campbell/Sylvain Ebanks-Blake career trajectory. He's got more about him than those two but i'm not sure he's quite good enough yet to get the football he'll need at Utd. Can see him being sold with a buy-back clause or something.
Macheda is a bit different insofar as he seems to have more of a poachers instinct rather than Wellbeck's pace etc, i'm not sure he'll be good enough in the long run either nor do I think Obertan is some potential world beater or anything. My prediction is based on the depressing reality that is the debt rather than any sort of "OMG THESE YOUNGSTERS ARE AMAZING" optimism (Morrison aside)
In my opinion. Hopefully both players will flourish at OT - we don't have a great record with young strikers becoming established members of the team though. Who was the last youth team striker to become one of our top three in the first team? I can't think of anybody!
It's such a tough position to break through in as it's limited to 2 or more often 1 spot when there is always at least 3 established players to get ahead of so in the case of Wellbeck specifically he ends up getting game time out wide and looking uncomfortable there.
He's obviously got quality but I don't think he's got quite enough to warrant the first teams striker spots he'll need to develop with us.
but he was schoking in the majority of first team games he played for us.
Too early to tell with Macheda but he is a great finisher.
i think he could be a great player at OT and if not, ill take him at white hart lane! hes got more than obertan/macheda in my view. can finish, creative and pace. big potential!

Crazy times at Chelsea.
You write from left to right in the PL's part of the world, you bunch of nutjobs.
I've scanned the thread. I stand alone, but I stand strong.
If the back line is in front of the keeper then Cole is on the keepers right, ie right back.
Football manager has the keeper at the bottom, so in that instance the left back is the fist in the line, which is both sensible and correct.
In all honesty it's only likely our attack will change much by 2012.
Rafael Vidic Smalling Evra
Nani Fletcher Rodwell Morrison
Walker Caulker Dawson Bale
Sandro Huddlestone Parrett
Bostock Wickham Modric
That team's gonna win the league.
I remember hoping that Ross D'arcy would become the best left back in the World. I even thought it might happen for a while, but that was sometime ago and I have grown up since.
although I do think there's a genuinely good chance that Walker and Caulker will have both established themselves in the first team by then. Bostock and Parrett, it's looking less and less likely. I thought Parrett might make the grade, but considering he's just been sent back from loan at PLYMOUTH since he couldn't get into the team there, it's difficult to be optimistic. That said, certain teams just don't suit certain players, and he turned 19 a few days ago, so I won't write him off just yet. (Likewise John Bostock, although I've yet to see anything from him to justify the early hype, bar the odd wonder-goal.)
McGeady Gardner Bowyer Larsson
Subs: Anyone currently playing ok for Coventry.
but has made me realised how old the majority of the Blackburn team are.
i reckon paul mclaren's coming back though, he's got unfinished business
van der wiel--evans--lescott --warnock
subs : siegrist, lichaj, baker, bannan, gardner, delfouneso, weimann
cb's a guess
Surely he can replace Hokey-Cokey in mf...
forgot Villa had Delph too. Injured?
Back in Jan.
I've forgotten what he looks like.
Irony. Don't post a link to his photo.
skillful but so lightweight. have a feeling once he gets a reality check from a monster like faye or samba he'll slowly decline into impact squad player.
The Villa youth all seem lightweight compared to some of the Bolton, Stoke, Blackburn defenders.
Heskey and Carew don't have long at the club.
yeah pretty much all of our youth are shortarse. the fonz is gonna grow up to be a talismanic striker though.
speedy and skillful youth is what i want. i doubt i'll get it though... we'll probably still have pires.
....and put Bendtner at the top of the shopping list...who is prob a bit more likeley that last months link with an "unsettled" Benzema.
i'm going to cry.
we need a few signings with that. someone to replace petrov eventually, and a couple of strikers. plus squad depth. not gonna get much out of 20.
If you sell Carew then theres around £10m left to spend.
And I'd hope that NRC will be plying his trade in the Blue Square Premier by then. He's put in a couple of quarter decent performances this year and people have gone nuts. Not a footballer, never will be.
Bannan will be in somebody's first team, hopefully ours alongside Gary Gardner.
that can't be denied.
looks as if houllier is training clark to be a dm.. that might just be because of our terrible injury list but gotta say he looks comfy playing there.
The only thing that I have heard in his defence is that he covers a lot of ground. That may be true, but he covers the ground whilst being consistently 2 yards behind the play. Great engine, shit sat-nav.
Agreed that Clark is looking pretty versatile though.
Because I think that even if Kightly comes back he's going to struggle to be as good as he was, or even prove he can cope at this level. Meanwhile Mujangi-Bia should have reached first team quality by then, plus we seem to be developing a few decent wingers in the academy.
If we haven't found a decent replacement for Ward by then I will despair. I think I'm in the minority in thinking van Damme will come good, but even if he doesn't then Malone looks a very good prospect. We've invested so much behind the scenes (I believe Wolves actually have the most advanced physio setup in the PL, which is mental) that it's inevitable that we'll see someone come through for the first time in ages.
I think, if we stay up, the main changes will be a) losing Jarvis, and b) getting in an established and reliably creative midfielder who can play the Edwards role but who isn't Edwards. A decent centre-back would be nice but for some reason McCarthy cannot scout out decent CBs for the life of him.
I hesitated to include Kightly, just because it's like he's not even there. We'll see about Geoff, especially with the loan situation.
gone if we get relegated, for me, are:
i think doyle will stay -- moving away from 4-5-1 really took the spotlight off of him.
i don't know what will happen if we stay up, because i still haven't figure out what our ambitions are. and despite doing this as if we're going to get relegated, i still think we're going to stay up. AND PLEASE DON'T SACK MICK! we'll obviously end up with some idiot that'll make everything worse a la Ian Dowie at Hull last year.
Johnson Wilson Skrtel Coentrao
Kuyt Meireles Lucas Shelvey
Hodgson seems to hate him too.
I got 5 / 11. Obertan though?! Ha ha.
happy with that.
can't tell if i was taking the piss with Smalling as a DM and Phil Jones CB.
I had high hopes for the lad...
Thems some pretty good calls
