especially for nibbles/coffee/PINT.
Common is ok, Dough does nice food, the castle provides good ale
I like Trof and usually head there when over that way... however the food at Dough isn't great, we waited absolutely ages for our food last time it came. It's the only time I've actually complained about the service. 1 hr for mains and 35 mins for a slice of cake is ridiculous, and it wasn't busy.
any where decent to get breakfast, it's been night and day on the past couple of occaisons, but their b/fast almost makes me explode.
get the breakfast at Retro Bar.
I dare you.
Wouldn't recommend using the toilets, though.
Keko moku on high street (opposite blu bar) was where I used to live. In fact, it's their 2nd birthday party tonight. (I'm seriously toying with the idea of whizzing up on the train after work for it, but would need to be back in london for 9am tomorrow. Anyway, musing ends here). So yeah, free drinks in kekos tonight, people of mancunia.
Officially my Least Favourite Bar of All Time.
was in a countdown of top ten fry ups in the UK over summer.
I've never eaten there but worth a try!
And when it does, they've usually forgotten your explicit instructoni about the beans not touching the tomato, or whatever. Trof's spicy fries are fucking awesome though.
