Oh, Harriet.
#1 most read story on the BBC at the moment.
A champion of equality attempting to belittle a political opponent by referring a genetically inherited physical attribute. And then using a strange genetic analogy, saying 'mutants' should be 'removed'? Doesn't look good in the wake of shadow justice minister Chris Bryant's comments about "social cleansing" (that Boris took to the next level) in reference to the housing benefit proposals.

The quote in full:
"Now, many of us in the Labour Party are conservationists - and we all love the red squirrel, and there is one ginger rodent which we never want to see again - Danny Alexander."
"Without asking anyone in Scotland, the government has been carrying out a programme of genetic modification - political genetic modification. This mutation has contaminated every Lib Dem councillor, it's affected every Lib Dem MP and Lib Dem MSP. They've all mutated into something alien to Scotland - Tories. There's only one thing left to do - these political mutants must be got rid of next May at the ballot box."
