You can drive down nearly all the streets in Preston city centre.
it'll probably be rubbish :(
i.e. All the major shopping areas in the town.
but when I saw the words shopping centre....i was thinking of thhose places you guys call shopping malls.......so i guess what i meant was that
York is the only city i know that hasnt got one of those sort of planned modern shopping centre full of things that are called 'units' that are let out.....

erm, collar-shops. It's something like that anyway; it's where all the tailors worked. There's a Piccadilly in Manchester too which is what led me to find out, and I'm sure there are others

there was one in Luton where I grew up, it had a tower of plastic flamingoes that reached all the way up to the roof.
they might look pedrestrianised and you only find out their not when a massive 4x4 is on top of you, blood is spurting and you're crying for your mum but still....
Apart from a bit of the Royal Mile, but certain vehicles can go down there
