what are you up to? what have you been up to? why? when? who? what?
i don't care, just talk to me
Although I have to write a dissertation proposal tonight :S
WHAT ARE YOU DOIN?
i'm going to sit in and cry instead.
also eat penguins and shake my head at how rubbish the jokes are now (VERY RUBBISH)
what are you gonna do your dissertation on? i'm jealous of the chinese food aspect of your night, especially. good work on that one.
It's on this graphic novel...
and summit about the postmodern condition.
am I right in assuming that the number is ONE MILLION? i bet it is, or close.
you've just practically wrote your proposal there. done. now you can go get monged with loads of dafties wearing primark jarmies.
Either I have a freakishly long torso or it was really sewn up wrong. It was very tight on my vajayjay.
wish i sat in and cried instead. the whole thing was grim
Probably going to watch a film then go to bed, first day at a new job today, so I need to get into bed at 10, then get frustrated at not being able to sleep til 4.
bruises can be a conversation starter too.
What if I've forgotten how to make friends?! :'(
The prequel is well worth watching too.
I made a similar mistake the first time someone mentioned the TV show. Them: Hey have you seen The Cube with Philip Schofield?" "He was in that?"
You should check out the film - its BLOODY FANTASTIC.
He was in such a frenzy with the pain that he poured his bottle of lager in his eye to soothe it
We were mauled and I scored an own-goal, before getting RIDICULOUS CRAMP.
Gonna make some chicken & aubergine pasta and watch Grand Designs all night.
How's that for a boring Sunday night post?
So I'm gonna sit in and watch the rest of season two of Breaking Bad, seeing as I can't go out because I pretty much broke my wrist last night =/
Should have been an Alanis Morrisette lyric
Never had a charsiu (sp?) bun before. They're pretty good. Gonna watch The Walking Dead when it's downloaded. Given that the rest of my day has been getting a haircut, watching football and being amused as my aunt's cat jumped excitedly between cardboard boxes, it's been a good day.
Sundays are quiet affairs here. Today I read about 100 pages of The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen, and watched a load of clips of the 'Party Quirks' round on Whose Line is It Anyway. The Iplayer link for 6-0-6 won't let me listen to it live because I'm not in the UK, so I'm listening to Thursday's Gideon Coe show on the BBC6 Iplayer, and he just played 'Bonny' by Prefab Sprout, which is one of those songs which, even though it's one of my favourite songs of all time, every time I hear it (especially times when I'm not expecting to hear it) it bowls me over. I just went across the road to Zabka and bought some terrible looking cigarettes that some wrapped in paper as opposed to a box, and I have one can of beer remaining so as soon as 6-0-6 stops being 'live' and moves onto 'listen again' I'll combine the book, the cigarettes. the beer and the radio, and it'll be perfect.
Not living in the UK anymore, I like the fact that ranting city fans / liverpool nutjobs are my primary source of information about what's going on in the world of football. There's been some vintage ones recently as well - the one where Bradley Walsh phoned in, the 'Simon Jordan special' where he was supposed to be there as an expert on club financial management and spent the whole time taking pot shots at everyone. I really enjoyed the guy yesterday who phoned up to complain that too much time on the radio was spent talking about Wayne Rooney, princeless.
I always make that typo, the number of times I type 'princess' a day.
Living in Poland you don't get much exposition to idiotic English football fans (at least not until 2012, if we qualify) so it's almost a nostalgia trip for me.
How's uni? You going out much? cuz if you're not you should.
i thought you'd called me your cousin there, i was getting very confused.
glad to hear it.
im hanging out in the library writing my first assessed/workshopped story of the year. it's about cub scouts playing football. well poignant.
because its my birthday and I can.
FUN BIRTHDAY EVENTS INCLUDE:
Going to the gym
Cleaning my room
Washing knickers and other coloured clothes
Sunday birthdays/birthdays in general are a bit rubbish but I have the day off tomorrow and £320 in birthday money and £400 in my savings so I *think* I may be getting some clothes....
The heating is broken
The toilet seat in the downstairs bathroom is broken
The toaster is broken
My parents aren't back until tuesday
I don't know what to do.
you were the first DiSser I stumbled across :D. Other than that it's not that great really.
Should probably do some work. About a month in and I still haven't done any.
Because my manager told me I had to. And I can't really put coz I got told to on the why are you applying for this. I hate application forms
Also the bank machine ate my card and I have to wait like a week and a half for my new one :( and I actually had money for a change. According to my bank I can lift my money from any bank with photo ID but I don't believe this.
it was excellent. Can't see how they'd be able to trim it down to 'regular' length without sacrificing most of the plot and characterisation.
There was an intermission after the second part (about three hours forty-five in) which was nice but before that it never felt like it had been a chore to watch.
Admittedly with the Mesrine double-bill and The Baader Meinhof Complex there have been other similar movies recently but this really is very good.
