So it turns out that what we all knew was happening in Iraq was actually happening- torture, murder of civilians etc., all implicitly supported by the US military and pentagon, as shown by the fact that they recorded such incidents yet purposefully ignored them.
60,000 civilians dead. That's war crime territory, no? And that's only the ones killed- people whose lives have been ruined must be in the millions. Everyone knows this obviously, but it's useful to be reminded of such things, especially with the facts and real case studies as we have here. It's a depressing state of affairs really.
Anyone read into this in serious detail? Got anything interesting to add?
