I love it so much, thought I get annoyed at laurali for hooking up with chris when her and luke have that fight.
not particularly funny, not particularly dramatic....and I hate that screwball comedy way they talk.
they talk is just painful to listen to
the way they talk is comedic enough not to have to write any funny material.
and was pretty much praying for a gas leak on-set
Even though it means I never know what the hell is going on.
Top 3 characters:
I'd watch one about paris too actually.
I have the DVDs. For serious.
The ultimate questions are obviously: Is Logan a tit or a dude?
And: Rory or Laureli?
Logan is a dude. The second one is a much harder call.
He ruins it completely!
Genuinely cannot bring myself to choose between Laureli and Rory.
Sometimes he's really nice/sweet, other times he's a douche.
logan's a complete arse, all that "hey ace" stuff, he's just a really annoying character. he's also too short.
rory > lorelai. lorelai bangs on about her parents sooo much, i really want sookie to knock her the fuck out every time she goes "you don't know my parents, these people are professionals."
rory is the perfect woman
It's all ZING! ZING! rapid-fire stuff.
And that's fun
Lorelai >>>>>>> Rory.
Rory's eyes are a tad too large.
until the last season. and yes, logan is a douche. jess was the best guy that rory dated.
she looked at me with disgust and doesn't believe that another male on earth could also like it.
another day, another scrap of masculinity falling to the floor.
and pick that scrap the fuck back up.
i might kick her in the face with a football to make up for it...clean my teeth with a gun...eat a press up. summat like that.
seriously needs their head checking. Thoroughly embarrassing for all involved.
on why Gilmore Girls is a good show.
I have to admit, like someone else said earlier, that i do occasionally watch it just because....it's there, basically. It's inoffensive, cosy and you can flit in and out. But I don't know why anybody would bother watching more than 15 minutes.
the script and dialogue are great with amazing references...it's so self-aware and clever with some of the best supporting characters ever...and...it makes you feel good inside.
with winter coming, i couldn't think of anything that would make me feel better than snuggling up with some early gilmore girls.
ok? ok. i'm off to shave my legs and buy some tampons.
and most of us enjoyed their company more...
this show is proof.
One of her love interests was reading Punk Planet in an episode once, so it's not all bad.
