They get on my teets, they really do. Clogging the paths at lunchtimes and 'I'm trying to get home from work' kind of times. They spot you coming, you've made eye contact, they start to bounce over into your intended path, they start smiling, then come out with some crap like "please talk to me I'm all lonely over there" or "I love your shades/shoes/jacket/t-shirt/whatever.....". There's too many of them!! I just had it at lunchtime today strolling through Covent Garden. There was about 3-4 different charities on the go, dodged most of them but this one guy shimmied his way over, arms out by his sides "hello....." , "nope, I can't stand you people", "you people??" "yep, the clipboard mafia", he just quietly and silently shook his head at me as though I'd shat on a puppy.
Does anyone here actually stop for them, give them some lip, hug them? If I want to give to charity I will and in my own way. I don't need them encroaching on me in my own time. BAH!
