just drink normal juice but LESS OF IT instead of ingesting all that chemical stuff because its NOT ON ALRIGHT
You need better material.
I don't like super fizzy drinks. I'll pop a bit of water in it if its too fizzy.
Things could get messy.
but it makes my teeth feel funny afterwards.
which is one of the most thoroughly tested food additives there is, and they only use tiny amounts because artificial sweeteners are so much sweeter than sugar (had to learn all this to counter the constant moaning from people at work about me only ever drinking coke zero, kinda lost the argument when one of my teeth disintergrated but I think getting to 29 without a filling wasnt bad consideing)
Because I was denied them as a child (my parents would buy one 2-litre bottle on a Saturday, which, between three sugar-hungy kids meant it was gone by Sunday lunchtime), I over compensate by drinking them all the time, plus I don't drink tea or coffee. And I usually drink diet options because I'd rather not consume a terrifying amount of sugar.
I found that out after drinking one not long after a can of Coke whilst hungover on Friday and very nearly throwing up straight afterwards.
because a 500ml bootle of coke is something like two thirds of rda of sugar but only 16% of calories, why is sugar bad in itself
You could easily have a bar of chocolate and a can of coke each day as part of a proper diet I bet
only sugar i've had today is from an apple. Often go days without sugar.
1) Nutrional advisor.
The idea that there exists a proffesion "nutrional adviser" baffles me
Aside from advising people with specific dietary requirements due to medical conditions or just generally promoting the abstract notion of 'healthy eating', whats the point of them? Who needs to be told how to eat? I bet most bad diets are down to other factors than not receiving good enough 'nutritional advice'.
I saw this program, right, where it said that whilst diet was sweeter it didnt release the same happy-chems in your brain because it dont have sugar in it
I can conclude from this that preferring diet juice not only indicates that you need to stop fooling yourself about your diet, but also that you are a robot/cyborg
But thats enough of that. Im giving away all my material for my 2012 fringe show entitled '80s comedian'
You eat sugar all the time. There's a lot of it out there.
Juice is not fizzy pop. It's juice.
Then I would drink the Tango, because ultimately I'm not that fussy.
and were giving me a treat. I'd also be a bit worried as to why I'd asked them for some juice.
The ridicule would be crushing.
not fat though.
How often do you drink fizzy drinks? I've worked with people who seem to drink several cans a day, and have seen 2L bottles stacked up in people's houses.
I maybe have a can of something sugary every other day. Yeah.
And I've always got some diet cola chilling in my fridge, I'll usually have a glass of that in the evening if I don't fancy a beer for whatever reason. But as I said up there, I have a psychological attachment to the stuff.
I kinda buy Dr Pepper Zero as a reflex action on sight, as some kind of support for the shop selling it, in the hope that it'll become stocked everywhere.
I have 22 teeth.
used to drink a 2l bottle of not-diet coke almost every day.
but I just crave diet coke sometimes.
it's more acidic so worse for yr teeth and it has that phenelalanin stuff maybe thats bad for yr liver? idk though, I'm no a boffin.
in that E-Numbers: An Edible Adventure programme...
then it's summary message (that I took away from it) was 'don't worry too much about E numbers', the bigger problem by far in our diets is overconsumption of sugars and fats.
Dunno though. There do seem to be some genuine concerns over DNA damage & and hyperactivity. Eg: sodium benzoate (E211) has been given the heave ho in the UK.
The more acidic thing seems slightly odd on first hearing it. What would the reason for that be?
I do know one thing. Dr Pepper Zero is so good that imma take the risk for now.
where as sugar is only acidic once it turns into plaque acid, so maybe takes longer
to mix a couple of metaphors.
When you drink diet coke, your body is ready for some sugarrrrr! But as there isn't any real sugar in it, it doesn't get it. Therefore it gives you a craving for something sweet. So if you're dieting and you drink diet coke for something sweet, it'll probably be worse for you than drinking fat coke because you'll probably go and eat a big bar of chocolate to cure the sweet cravings you're having.
Only people with phenylketonuria should worry about it being bad since they can't metabolize it...
without having to ingest lots of calories
The number of calories it has should be irrelevant as if you've a healthy diet anyway then it shouldnt matter. The worst thing about it is the tooth rot issue, but then you just brush your teeth and then BAM.
instead of tea/coffee/water/whatever so 2 litres would be like close to 300% your daily sugar rda. The whole taste thing, once you become used to diet versions the non diet versions seem so sickly so I can understand why people are on different sides for that. But yeah even having one a day is probably pretty bad and will add up over time
in my youth i use to enjoy pepsi max more than any other fizzy drinks.
It's too obnoxious a word
Like "fizzy juice" is how i would normally say it but that was derided up there^
I like "ginger" but i've only ever known my granny and my mum to say that so I end up talking like them if I try and say it and they talk like "ayyyyyyyyyyyyyye ayyyyyyyyyyyye maaaaaaammy its fair dreich out the day"
dont get me started on "soda"
OH OK i will get started on "soda"
bwom bwom bwom bap bah dow
that was the seinfeld music
idk, I just call it juice. Fruit juice and fizzy juice can be called juice, y'know. Calling it "pop" reminds me of panda cola, which is the most wretched ginger in the world.
I'mma just call it "gaseous beverage" from now on.
Srsly everyone is going to be diabetic soon stop the madness
and i am man.
are on par with fatty obese people in terms of terriblyness
YEAH, PEOPLE WHO
