i was on it for about 90% of the time. must try harder.
(by the fresh prince)
People who mishear that line are pretty special.
for a 90s karaoke rap battle
90s rap battle, table football, tuck shop.
I'll bring a variety of baseball caps to wear sideways.
(props to anyone who can do this whole rap without autocue)
but feel free to add
but I've done it before and disgusted myself with how little the autoque /was/ needed.
Embrace the barbie girl inside you! Its what AQUA would have wanted...
including spoken word introduction.
sometimes just do it really quietly on the way to work to cheer myself.
I could possibly sing a few Blur/Radiohead ones but they were from my 20s.
I'd be hard pressed to remember the lyrics from songs I wrote so it's not the songs, it's me.
as long as I was allowed to go all Vic Reeves Pub Singer for a couple of lines. But I assume you mean every song word-perfect.
ba-day ba-day ba-wa-da-dan-dai
over and over again?
ba-da-da-da-da bee ba ba bala bop
everybody stutters one way of the other
so check out my message to you
This was a big achievement. Although I'm sure I made a couple of bits up.
I just realised there are only about three lines so it's pretty easy to remember.
(but not for the last 10 years, probably)
(used to work my way through it when i worked in a factory where my job was to manually align all the 'freshly made' sandwiches so that they were properly diagonal, ready for the cutter. ahhh, lincolnshire summer jobs...)
I am now singing in my head, and amazed to find I remember a lot of the lyrics!! :D
Blur - Parklife
Yeah, Aqua - Barbie Girl as well
Loads actually, I was a 'learn-all-the-words-on-purpose' type of teenager. Used to write them down whilst listening to the songs, then repeatedly pause and play the bits I couldn't figure out until I figured them out.
I'm off to get ID'd trying to buy some Smirnoff Ices then go drink them in the park.
i'm pleased with this so far.
dance routines from comedy show intros/outros you could do:
men bahaving badly
harry enfields television programme
(for shame, ccb, for shame)
bloody hell, won't be doing that at karaoke then.
The chorus is just slightly unnerving; 'if you cry out, I'm gonna push it some more'; nice.
scrub that, shan't be bogling to Inner Circle at karaoke.
Word for word.
