dude killed himself playing russian roulette! for money!
(I have not got a working tv aerial centric)
I've never seen it as I'm not usually interested in the celebrity they chose but they chose them cause their story's so good so I guess I should give it a go. Richard Madely was talking about how weird it is that the people making the show know all this cool stuff about your family and you're not allowed to find out until filming. Sounds good.
We once got a phone call from a relative we didn't know existed, he's like this OBE who ran the Guardian or something. He wanted my dad to help him research the family and he wrote a book. Some of it's awesome; bigamists and mad drunks and a trampy Irish women who was extradited and then set up a cultish convent thing in Canada.
I just tried to find it online but this was all I could find and it's a particularly boring article
although sometimes you come across some epic stories which are worth telling. Like this one of Alan Cummings' (who?) grandfather.
that one the other week about Alex Armstrong out of Armstrong & Miller, he traced back to William the Conqueror -27 generations and pretty much like tracing back to Adam or the cavemen in real terms.
