do you have a marriage pact or back up plan?
When I was about 14 my gay best friend and I formed a marriage pact (pretty much as a joke) that stated if we weren't married by age 35 then we would wed.
Another friend has just said (again, jokingly) we should get married if we hit 40 and aren't married already by that point.
Anyone on here got any form of marriage pact serious or non-serious or have some sort of back up plan (see: J-Lo in "The Back Up Plan" and artificial insemination).
Sub question: What majority of people do you think will still be getting married in 20-odd years time. I have a feeling it'll fizzle out somewhat though my friend and I discussed this the other day and agreed people would still get married but the hype these days is about the wedding itself not the actual marriage.
