Lower heart rate can indicate super efficient heart muscle
DO you have other symptoms?
"professional cyclist Miguel Indurain had a resting heart rate of 28 beats per minute"
I don't want to sound nasty, but that's at a level usually found in the pretty fit. Resting heart rate isn't the be all and end all - the time of recovery between active and resting is usually a better indicator of fitness, but when I was swimming competively, I think that mine was somewhere in the mid-40s, and I was doing a lot of training at the time.
i'm not super fit no.
i have been eatign well for the last few months and jogging, but i'm not sure that would cause such a low rate.
it's no biggie, i'm just wondering if i'm dying or summit cause i need to get my dissertation sorted before i do.
Usual answer would be to check with your GP. Clearly it's abnormally low, but it could be for completely benign reasons (larger heart than normal or just that you're not measuring it properly).
Better safe than sorry.
and it was a nice average 70.
Do you feel roughly like a third of a house?
and none of female vox "oh oh-oh oh-ohs"?
No energy etc?
i am quite prone to a palpitation though
How are you measuring your pulse?
It has a pulse of its own
