RipForks 'writing disorders' section..
http://ripfork.com/writing-disorders/
Generally I think the guy responsible for this website must be the most impotent blue-balled failure of a journalist ever. For someone who can actually write quite well, channelling so much energy into wailing on a few amateur music reviewers is pretty much objectively lame.
BUT, I think these are generally maxims I agree with. Here on DiS I've seen a few reviews lately which do little except undermine the websites quality and bring its reputation down. There have been a couple in the last week or so (don't wanna highlight anyone in particular) that, to me, read like the author was 12 years old sitting a mock SATS essay.
I've heard people on here say that they largely ignore the main content of the site, which seems a shame. Personally, I reckon there should be less focus on quantity of content and more focus on ensuring the writing and editing is of a consistently high quality, and that the artists covered and fresh and worth reading about.
So yeah. What do you think?
