Seen anything good lately? Stand up is preferred...
from the EFF, quite funny.
Always cheers me up, I watch it a lot
Stand-up is lame.
Is a pretty good feel good type film.
is on iPlayer heeeere: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00tmz7j/Edinburgh_Comedy_Fest_Live_Episode_1/
It's hosted by Kevin Bridges who is funny, and has looooads of comedians on it doing 5 minute sets- some who are excellent and some not-so-much.
Oooor you could watch 'Totally Bill Hicks' here: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/totally-bill-hicks/
Regular bloke. Tall-ish with blonde/brown-ish hair. Usually goes up there in a blazer or a proper suit. He's got to be popular, he's been on all the late-night American talk shows when they have a comedian instead of a band some nights and I saw his special playing on Sky TV at a friend's place. He's got this real laid back delivery style. Funny as hell, though. And he's not physical with it, either. Has these bits like talking about invisible condoms being put on the market and their target audience being gullible women or the one about how, upon being locked up for crank calling, that one phone call is kind of tempting.
I have to know. I've tried everything. Search engines don't really work if you don't know much other than the guy is British.
I should have seen that coming
But some of us like Ricky Gervais, Eddy Izzard, Russel Brand, that lot
Please, I've got to know. Think! He's got to be somewhat popular over there. And he has to be more famous in the UK than in America if he's slightly popular in America and I don't even know his name!
if so it's Michael Mcintyre
Didn't see these replies. And nope. Not even close. This guy is a riot in the most odd way. Very staid, deadpan, laid-back delivery style. The guy hardly even moves. Not the loud, walking-aroud, showman type at all.
Thanks for that, though. I'll YouTube him some more. Don't need cheering up but I'm always up for good British humour.
But it could've been any of them, this was a while ago. But I saw that special he did. Someone knows who I'm talking about.
ALWAYS cheers me up. Here's a guy happy to mimic power tool noises for a good ten minutes
is some Battlefield Baseball in your life.
Don't mention it.
awesome! I did however watch grave of the fireflies another studio ghibli the other day and it was so sad I cried! so dont watch that.
if you need cheering up I started following this video blogger who actually has a fun functional family life, which in a cynical world of nasty people makes you believe in good people again.
