Is that even grammatically correct? How hateful is this advert?
tbh either one sounds slightly retarded to me.
So basically it's a quote from Shakespeare and is meant to tie in with the fact that they’ve called the new car the Guilietta.
When you see the car’s full name it should read as 'Alfa Romeo Guilietta' i.e. Romeo and Juliet in Italiano (almost.) Which is fine. I get it – this is some sort of love story between the manufacturer and the car. Understood.
Apart from the quote is actually from The Tempest, not Romeo and Juliet. Which is not a tale of passionate love but about a magician on an island with an evil beast so... yeah. Well done ad agency. There’s only one thing worse than dumb ads – dumb ads that think they are clever.
Had no idea it was Shakespeare uncultured buffoon that I am.
I see it every day at Fenchurch street and I did think it looked like her but I just assumed it was A.N. Other Model.
To be honest I just assumed it was typical fast car macho bullshit aimed squarely at Tory guys who TALK LOUDLY and like to call women 'babe'.
