Autopilot has definitely kicked in.
I dreamt that a DiSer bought a house from me.
I am VERY tired due to the fat cat laying at the end of the bed all night meaning I couldn't put my legs straight.
But I had a pleasant weekend which was very relaxing and comfortable.
Don't tell me theres something sexual in that post.
it's really delivering this season
And I just love snooks. She can't see over the counter because shes so small! "It hurts my vagina.....No I like it"
This weekend was rather nice.
My Dad's in town so it was a very family orientated weekend. And lots of wine.
Also the girl in front of me is drinking a cup of coffee. I haven't drunk coffee in 7 months. It smells so good I am tempted to fall off the wagon.
why are they all travelling on a wagon?
Like the character Eddie Murphy plays at the beginning of Trading Places.
so I gave up coffee and I haven't had a bad headache since...and no decaff doesn't count.
isn't it worse for you, being chemically enhanced and all?
Give it a go!
I'm sure there are others- but that's the one I used to have.
Every time I've heard someone talk about headaches from coffee, they've been someone who drinks about 15 cups of instant per day.
A couple of cups of espresso coffee a day seems to cause most people no trouble at all.
and it was Cafe Nero coffee not instant stuff. I would get these really bad headaches that would feel like my brain was swelling out of my scull. Awful.
Maybe it's a tumour idk.
Bikram Yoga tends to force that one. I dunno maybe it is a tumor (tried do that in Arnold Swartzenegger's voice, didn't work)
and as punishment I ought to make that cup of tea.
So I think it's only right that you do. I'll stick the kettle on.
That's awful decent of you, I thought I was supposed to be making the tea.
I'm still getting the biscuits though, triple choc cookies as usual.
I could sort you out with a custard cream, though?
but it was nice. Or in other words, oooooh ta very much.
And THEN decided it was the best time to try it?
These ones will BLOW YOUR MIND- fresh and everything :D
I don't like the taste.
I feel completely spazzed out.
rather pleasant end to the week it was.
I like the way that sounds in my head.
I had a good weekend. A couple of parties, a date, some painting, watch Appaloosa last night (really good film). Fresh, line-dried sheets on the bed last night. AMAZING.
Off on holidays on Wednesday evening for 10 days, things are working out nicely at work so everything will be done before I go.
Still got to work out what I'm going to write about The Dark this week.
Skimmed over that nicely! How did it go?
Fresh bed linen = Best night's sleep, ever.
Don't think I'll be seeing her again though.
Plenty more fish in the sea etc, etc.
A. She was invisible.
Plus her hands and wrists were a bit over-sized for the rest of her. I'm almost certain she wasn't a man once but y'know, it looked a bit odd.
As reasons go, this is one of my favourites.
makes your willy look small if someone has their massive mitts around it.
just so I could afford to have someone make my bed with fresh sheets every day.
Fresh, ironed sheets every day. I should probably start playing the lottery so I can live the dream.
fresh sheets on another night of the week.
Sunday night is the best night to have fresh sheets as it makes you happy and less grumpy about monday morning.
but I'm not convinced, we'll have to agree to differ.
I will be away at training this morning. Any queries, problems get in touch with thewarn.
some of the bands were great whilst some were hilariously shit.
also we went out to get pizza and a local crackhead sung a song to my girlfriend about how beautiful she is. it was brilliant. she didn't seem to think so though...
"Pretty girl in the spotted dress
You look like an angel in white and blue
I think you probably fell from the sky
Cupid's heart breaks every time you dance...
Ooh yeah, Michael's back!"
with a .22 snub-nosed revolver.
I didn't want to do it but he'd killed bamos and payback was required.
MTFU - .44 or GTFO
I was pretty ashamed but it was all I had to hand.
CG tried to shoot me back but died before he could.
undermine any masculinity you think you might have.
I'd recommend it, especially if you're a western fan and even if you're not.
I'll try to catch it if I get a chance.
what a total lady.
He just doesn't like us.
all my cards and my driving licence somewhere in my flat. This may become a problem later in the week.
i had a fucking quality weekend that involved:
- getting a fiver that stated that i should vote BNP
- having a mcdonald's in the sunshine
- breaking into a disused outdoor amphitheatre
- dancing like a loon in a pub
- taking too many over exposed photos of a pretty girl
- amish teenagers on tv
It's not that hard to break into if so.
if it was hard we would've not got in. Q.E.D.
I had a quiet weekend, although I did have a drunken DiSer or two in my house on Friday night. Saturday was a fifa night with some friends, interupted only by MoTd. I'm currently eating an apple which was a flat warming present from a friend who doesn't have much dosh at the moment. It is nice.
had a couple of people over for drinks though. Anyways, when is this chess business going to happen?!
I've only just got back from hols hence the two weeks non-chess
Then we can have some falafel as well.
Not mornings though, lunchtimes with beer.
Back from hols which were fab; we had our own lake and stayed in a huge old house in the middle of nowhere. There was an abandoned amusement park for us to play in too and I saw lots of wildlife :)
How is everyone? Have I missed anything?
I don't have any money left though.
Can we please organise our diaries so that I get to see you on my next trip up? Also, I think you should come down and visit soon :) (zonino?)
It were ace.
Lots of crying, and boxes everywhere. Also, spent my first 5 hours as a Londoner in the royal london hospital resus department. (he is alive, if a little sore). Today I'm going exploring for essentials- since we're well acquainted with the local A&E now, that leaves gym, bikram studio, shops.
That sounds quite serious. I assume that ‘he’ is xylopwn, and that he won’t be reading this, so pass on our best wishes.
He's fine and home and just a bit dopey (this particular shoulder dislocation being so unusual, the 'relocation' meritted getting all of the a+e junior doctors round the bed to bear witness and learn. The things the boy will do for free ketamine :)
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a dislocation leading to resuscitation. Eek!
Anyone have any nice ales at the weekend? I am wondering if this is a topic that can have its own weekly thread... probably not. Anyway I quoffed:
Brakspear Oxford Gold - Always, always a lovely drop
Brains Steaming Wagon - Never had this before. Absolutely lovely. Full bodied but not too heavy, a rare combo.
Stayed in on Friday night and ate lots of meat and drank fancy beers and watched a shark documentary and played video games and finished reading my book.
My girlfriend and I headed to Edinburgh on Saturday, met Craig Foley for a pint and we went to see Phil Kay; Foley then ditched us unceremoniously before we went off to see Richard Herring's show. Both shows were most excellent.
Sunday morning I played football, it was boiling and I scored a cracker in a 6-6 draw in which I sweated out ALL THE SWEAT. EVER. One guy on my team walked off in a huff because he was getting shouted at so much for being out of position :D I then went into the lab briefly, THEN we went to Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and had a nice 4-mile walk into the forest in the blazing heat. We saw red squirrels and lots of birds and some pretty cool insects.
Then home and beer and pizza and watching Frasier and some weird film and then did sex and I taped MOTD2 which meant I could watch it afterwards while fast-forwarding through all the shite bits (which turned out to be the vast majority of it).
