Also, it is one of the only two Kevin Smith films that still really stand up today. What is the other?
Mallrats is the only other good one. Clerks is still amazing.
but I think it's exceptional
Chasing Amy is too long but the good stuff is too good.
Doesn't still stand up at all
it's Citizen Kane
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks 2 are great
even though you've never even met anyone whose done it before
but jay and silent bob strike back has its moments (clown shoes, its the dawson, tracking down and beating people from the internet), a lot of it is pretty stupid but it is enjoyable enough like most of his films
having Randall in again is almost enough to save it from being truly bad.
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Zack & Miri
except I'm going to have to take your word on Jersey Girl and Zack and Miri because I haven't gone near them with a bargepole.
And everyone seems to have forgotten that he directed Cop Out, which came and went about a month ago
Jersey Girl is a horrible sappy rom-com with Ben Affleck in it, but it also has George Carlin and a cute kid in it and it's about as good as a film like that could be.
Zack & Miri is shit. LOL P0Rn
FLY, FAT ASS, FLY!
The usual vault rules apply: Touch not, lest ye be touched.
Never really been a big fan of his. Clerks and Mallrats were ok.
Ben Affleck is my nemesis.
'that child is on the elevator again!!!!'
Clerks 2 is also absolutely brilliant.
Dogma has it
playing on the emotions of anyone that's had to bite (or hack off) their tongue from shouting "I wish you'd never been born" at your children, plus jennifer Lopez dies within minutes of the start, great film, for a sappy romcom. Dogma I find embarrasing, it's so poorly directed, filmed and edited to the point where it's not a joy to watch.
The animated series of Clerks was sorely under-rated, yes?
