Well, have you?
I have never been afraid of the dark.
Very disappointed but not scared.
he's from Pineapple Dance Studios - the good one, not Louie Spence.
I am a bit too excited for this.
I need to see it.
Oh noes! The haunted camera!
I had to sleep with the door adjar and the hall light on. I also piled my bed with all my dolls and stuffed toys to protect me. I blame this on watching Silver Bullet when I was 5 and I was affraid Werewolves were going to eat me.
I actually believed my toys came alive when I fell asleep.
it was a round stump with claws knitted on. I still have him.
And a deep sea diver as his sidekick, and an owner called Andrea
"To the Ocean and deeper"
It was beautiful!
silence shits me right up. so pitch black but noisy = fine, but pitch black and can't hear anything = shit scary. even if it's the middle of the day and i'm in my own house, silence scares me.
I love climbing to the top of a hill/mountain and not being able to hear anything.
the wind and so on. you pretty much have to be inside to not hear ANYTHING at all.
it'll chase the silence away
or eating a spider to catch the fly
Got anything further to add.
I did like Are You Afraid of the Dark? when I was younger.
I guess, the only things I'm afraid of are drowning and images of wrecakges underwater (though it's more a freaked out fascination).
I'm so afraid of what lurks in water. In my horrid nightmare last week I was a killer who had to shoot people underwater. It was the worst :(
And then afterwards I feel cold, empty and haunted, just like the sunken ships.
I did have a horrid moment last week after a terrible nightmare. I woke up and needed to pee, and was so scared about going into the hall because I thought there was a sniper there. I seriously considered peeing in a pint glass instead. Once i put all of the lights on I was fine (I had put on the lights so I could see what I was doing whilst peeing into the glass, I do admit, but I DIDN'T DO IT).
I get it from you now too!
To the bridge?
We locked her in a cupboard.
why did the sand always make the fire woosh up, like it was gunpowder or something? Surely it couln't be a bucket of gunpowder, that close to a fire. That'd be madness.
especially when I'm in a park, and there's no-one else around, ooh I get the shivers.
Pretty spooky. And actually quite interesting.
under, as in into the catacombs and stuff.
But I do have a bit of a fear of what might be standing on the other side of a window at night when you enter a room and turn the light on.
Also, and I think this comes from a Famous Five story, I don’t like the idea of being in a room, in bed, during a thunderstorm, and a flash of lightning illuminating the silhouette of someone peering in through the window.
a knuckle duster) and I doubt they would do much damage.
just slide back into your fist and probably do you more damage.
its all about "feeling" like you've got more power.
when it's late i carry a spare oyster card in my hand (not with any money on it) and then if someone tries to jump me i can quickly slot it into their mouth and slap their cheeks really hard and that's very reassuring.
when you've ripped open your own palm doing a Chubb Kreuger impression whilst a thief nicks your oyster card and pisses on your golas.
it 'cloaks' you
Its best outside at night
once in the dark i saw infinity and time, and i was scared
YEAH I INVENTED THE NIGHT, IN MAAA LABORATORY USING LUST AND LIIIIIEEESS
my imagination runs wild
im fine if im under the covers though, unless i have a scary dream.
