So you know how the Lib Dems 'thing' is constitutional reform, and thats what gets them a lot of their votes?
Well it looks like thats not even gonna happen anyway

If this doesn't get through parliament then... well, I'll be very angry for a few seconds before descending into the political apathy I feel more and more as the political world feels more like a game of shit chess being played by a couple of four year-olds who don't give a fuck, whilst everyone standing round them pretends that they're grand masters or something. It feels like a denial of democracy. I for one will feel completely un-empowered... still.
What will the Lib Dems do if this doesn't go through? I can't see that they have any options to be honest. They can't really force a vote of no confidence because in the ensuing election the Tories would just get a majority and do what the hell they want anyway. But then if they stay in government everyone who isn't a Tory will hate them for being Tory whipping boys, and Tories will remain apathetic to them, thus destroying them as a political force for generations.
Oh, what a potentially shit situation.
