After being abandoned due to weather on Saturday night, the first heat of the speedway World Cup took place yesterday, and the Polish took advantage of home turf advantage to win the event and progress straight to the final. Denmark and Russia qualify for the race-off, the Czech Republic head home with their tails between their legs.
The second heat takes place in Kings Lynn where GB, Sweden, Australia and Finland will do battle. The Aussies will have to do without Jason Crump and so I reckon Sweden will probably sweep all before them, with GB and the Aussies qualifying for the race-off.
What do you think, eh?
