Sandwich

1)Why does a sandwich made by someone else taste better ?
2)Why to triangle cut sandwich taste better that square cut ?
3)Why does the top part of bread taste better than the bottom ?

      • madness aside i'm too hungover to rapier your points.

  • "top part"

what... what's the "top part" of a loaf of bread?

    justanothersheeldz | 20 Jul '10, 12:55 | X
    • there is no mention of loaf...just top part of bread.

      freddiehubbard @justanothersheeldz | 20 Jul '10, 12:57 | X
      • which is still what part?

i don't understand. i have no reference point.

        justanothersheeldz @freddiehubbard | 20 Jul '10, 13:04 | X
        • no, me neither

          freddiehubbard @justanothersheeldz | 20 Jul '10, 13:05 | X
  • I can answer A for you

    A) You're shit in the kitchen and the people who have made sandwiches in the passed for you are much better at it, they know the importance of things such as cheese to pickle ratio.

  • i'm pretty sure the triangular sandwich

is squarely aimed at the 2-8 year old age bracket.

    • and me

They're brilliant and do taste better

      • Do you not occasionally feel a little naughty and go for a square

it's always magical, but I'm sure If I ate square shapes all the time I would say the same about the triangle

I might make a circle sandwich one day just to really fucking with the laws of deli physics

        Yesiamaduck @Scout | 20 Jul '10, 13:08 | X
        • I love circle sandwiches :D

Milk loaf sandwiches are even better than triangle sandwiches! But only at my nan's house. I've never eaten one elsewhere.

          Scout @Yesiamaduck | 20 Jul '10, 13:11 | X
          • again...my daughter eats circular sarnies but shes 2.5

sandwiches do not need to be a novelty item

            freddiehubbard @Scout | 20 Jul '10, 13:15 | X
            • You can make yin and yang sandwiches from milk roll.

              They're BRILLIANT.

              • how do you make one side black?

                • Such a racist...

                  • I was reading this article when you posted it

    • nah, it's pretty much a standard all over the world for any age

see: shops selling sandwiches. i love them being triangular.

      justanothersheeldz @freddiehubbard | 20 Jul '10, 13:06 | X
      • But they're even better when you cut them again

making 4 triangles rather than 2. And you eat LOADS of them cos they're smaller and you think you can.

        Scout @justanothersheeldz | 20 Jul '10, 13:09 | X

  • Triangle sandwiches do taste better!

My mum never understood this! She would always cut them retangular! I hate rectangle sandwiches!!!!!!!

      • I had a tough childhood

I constantly argued with my mum about the shape of sandwiches.

    • And crisps

Crisps on the side of the plate, with triangle cut sandwiches. Bliss !!!!

      Bish_Bosh @meowington | 20 Jul '10, 13:28 | X
      • Yes! If I'm at home, the crisps go on the side of the plate.

        meowington @Bish_Bosh | 20 Jul '10, 13:29 | X
        • Always

Always on the side, out of the packet !!

          Bish_Bosh @meowington | 20 Jul '10, 13:36 | X
  • b) You are correct on the triangular point

    a) rubbish. My sandwiches are the best, ever.
    c) No, you are wrong. HOWEVER, the heel of the loaf toasted is wonderful- not better or worse than a normal slice of toast- just different. Its added robustness also makes it an ample carrier for eggs benedict/ florentine if you have run out of muffins.

    PickledOeuf | 20 Jul '10, 13:32 | X
  • they taste the same

    cheers

    jacques_le_biscuit_ | 20 Jul '10, 13:34 | X
