why I love Futurama: surreal as fuck, biting off slightly more than they can chew, wide array of fantastic characters totally impossible to replicate in any other show (Zoidberg, Bender, Morbo etc); even the guest stars are done in a wtf way - Nixon getting a huge robotic body, Al Gore's head wearing a cape, Star Trek cast, Beck turning evil etc
why I don't love Futurama: 2nd rate South Park-esque current affairs commentary and satire pertaining to social network, iPhones, Susan Boyle, Fox's censorship issues etc.
SORT IT OUT GROENING. The first three are good, with some amusing moments, but on balance a disappointing return to form. I'll stick it out, of course. But one of the best things about Futurama was that as The Simpsons furrowed a plateau of mediocrity the longer it went on, Futurama got better and better with age. Don't screw this up, plz.
