I may have been subconsciously reaching out to Vikram
...I vaguely know a guy who is an army sniper. He specifically pursused this particular branch of the armed forces as, I quote, "I wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone."
Well...I suppose the army do like killing people...
He was pretty cagey about the details though and said talking about killing people wasn't really 'meeting-new-folk-in-the-pub-conversation'
Of course it fucking is!!!!
Finding out someone is an army sniper is one of those drop-everything conversational topics where no matter what you were discussing, you have to ditch that and ask this person a million burning questions.
In fairness to him, I sometimes get annoyed by people asking me about my job when all I want is to chill out and drink some beer.
But in fairness to me, I don't kill people for a living. Not directly, anyway.
I was pretty disappointed that he wouldn't answer all my highly childish questions :(
Which none of use believed because
a) he weighed about 37 stone
b) why would a UN peacekeeping force have a sniper?
They just lie around on rooftops all day.
b) ... to shoot the guns out of people's hands? if he was a really really good shot?
Actually no, you're right, I smell bullshit.
All the Serbs in a half mile radius would go "Why has that beached whale on top of that building got a gun?"
my ex-wife cooked up a storm, I mean really tasty tucker...Eastern European laydee saw was...Tittyana, cor what a dahling, rode me for 7 hours and my balls were emptier than a bag of sugar at a fat person's party.
