in any of the harry potter books/films, and despite the films always being massively underwhelming, i still invariably get goosebumps when the trailers come on in a cinema. i'm such a sucker for loud dramatic music
I'm a massive HP geek. And I could have passed out when I saw this I was so excited
I just hope they leave Voldemort with that feeling of mistique and tension, seems to appear alot in the trailer, but it might just be to draw people in a bit.
Still, properly can't wait for this.
This trailer makes me think that they've made a Harry Potter film that is, in the true senses of the words, awesome and epic. Hopefully splitting this into two parts was a good move and will give them plenty of room to delve right into the story and make a Harry Potter film a true monument of cinema. The earlier films were so rushed and flimsy and disappointing, even if they got better as they got on. Oh man, geek overload.
I could probably pick Harry Potter for my Mastermind subject and ace it, no sweat.
the trailers ALWAYS make them look awesome and epic but then it turns out all the awesome epic bits were in the trailer and have somewhat less impact when spread out across 2 hours of lame flimsiness
which might mean twice the flimsiness to be fair. Still, the trailer does look good *famous last words*
Although I can't for the life of me remember what happens in the last book. Is that the one about destroying all the horcruxes?
YES. What I vaguely remember of this book is them doing a lot of travelling and it being extremely dark (both in tone and by the looks of it, the lack of lighting in this film).
A re-reading of the book is in order I feel.
about time too. the last 6 have been average to downright rubbish.
Order of the Phoenix and I have a weird relationship, I honestly think it's my favourite film of all time. It's wrong, I know.
Plus GARY OLDMAN <3
I do think though that Rupert Grint who plays Ron is the true star though, a great natural actor.
In spite of being a pretty poor book
a little while after i saw the 3rd one in the cinema, i watched a film where lupin was bumming leonardo di caprio and the lupin man looked exactly the same haha
because it's my least favourite book, the only one I've read once, but my favourite of the films, so far. The battle in the Ministry of Magic was fantastic.
Part I is in November. So is my birthday. Let's go to see it for my birthday.
If we go for your birthday does that make it permissible to dress up a little?
Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint both seem like alright chaps though.
i am actually way too excited about this, it looks mega! I have been invariably really disappointed by all the other films but i think i've finally got over the fact that Daniel Radcliffe just isn't Harry and i think i'll be able to enjoy this one a lot more. I hope.
I'll be avoiding it in 3D though, i've decided 3D is shit unless you're willing to pay ££££ to go to an IMAX
