England squads don't change *that* much between championships. Bolt-on future international teenagers fail to make the step up, long serving players have a second career wind.
Gary Cahill will be good. Delfouneso probably a bit young. Ashley Young.
If we stopped and thought about this we could probably make a good young team, let's be honest. Germany have brought in good young players and it's obviously worked for them...
rodwell, wilshere, johnson, henderson & cattermole all look talented
but rodwell, adam johnson and wilshere have looked really good this season. michael johnson (not sure which one you're talking about) turns out amazing on fm ha but seems a bit of a fatty in real life...
i just want us to use them before they develop into lazy, ego machines like half the current team. rehash the entire squad for the next tournament sans a few...
it's a real shame what's happened to michael johnson, he did look fantastic for that one season.
James Tomkins, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are other bright prospects for the defence.
Teddy Sheringham's reanimated corpse
Kieran Gibbs could be a better option.
He's already 27.
he has pace, a good brain and though he is 27 he has only been playing top flight football for a few years, seems to still be improving. wouldn't be opposed to dawson though if that's your angle.
I just don't see any reason to believe that Jagielka will have established himself by then. More likely that Terry will still be clinging on.
lethal attacking duo
and hopefully michael owen can come along for moral support and attempt to console everyone when england drop out of the group stage losing to North Korea 5 - 0
Walker Richards Cahill Gibbs
Lennon Bostock Rodwell Wilshere Johnson
Dappy from N Dubz is a shoo in.
in all 11 positions and as manager, obviously. We'll have cloning licked by then, no worries.
Also interesting to note that not many people seem to be talking about Victor Moses.
But then he's got promise and not a lot else right now. Are there any outstanding forward talents coming through?
And how about playmakers? Milner's probably going to assume the captaincy as the eldest and most commanding of the players left after The Great Purge, but he isn't the same kind of player as a Gerrard, or an Ozil.
We need an Ozil.
There is no chance of us winning the World Cup in Brazil no matter how good the players we have are. There is probably no chance of any non South American team winning it either and even then it'll almost definitely be Brazil.
We need to look to 2018 and our world beating u17's taking the world by storm.
you've missed out tom cleverley
