Holy fuck. I screamed like crazy just then. Terrifying. Thought he'd get very seriously hurt...
I can't remember the last time I saw an F1 crash tat looked so awful. Kubica in Canada a couple of years ago, I guess?
Pretty spectacular, eh?
Glad he's alright. Good man.
Haven't felt such fear for a driver since Kubica in Canada 2007. The Massa crash last year wasn't as instantly clear or horrifying, but that Webber smash was scary :O
to escape unscathed. Looked pretty horrendous.
Heikki should've done a better job of getting out of the way.
At the same time, Webber shouldn't have assumed Heikki was going to get out of his way.
If he drivers let others past just because they're faster then there'd be no racing at all...
Actually, it must've been. Webber had a terrible pitstop and was right down the rankings, wasn't he?
Ignore me. It was mostly Webber's fault, then.
Absolutely no need to put any time soon.
Difficult decision :-(
pace is okay again :-\
Totally blocking Kobayashi - lost him a ton of time - he would have definitely come out in the points after a pit stop before. URGH.
But this drive by Kobayashi is one of the most brilliant of the past couple of years.
Consistent, brilliant pace, basically matching Vettel and Hamilton - a couple of great overtaking moves (sure, big tyre advantage, but it's still ridiculously difficult at Valencia). Just realised there won't be an F1 Forum thing cause of the football. Who cares about England - go Japan!
Wait... if all the drivers mentioned get time penalties (they probably won't, but...) doesn't that mean Kobayashi would have 3rd!?
He really hasn't been one of the most brilliant drivers, though.
I know he hasn't been very good so far this year (but three? times in third quali isn't bad). Hopefully this will be a big confidence boost for him.
Webber's crash looked pretty spectacular, I guess, but it wasn't ever really that grizzly. Kinda graceful, if that doesn't sound too wierd. The lucky bit was landing the right way up and hitting the tyre wall head on. Being upside down or getting a massive side impact would've been cause for insta-worry.
Enjoyable. Not quite as crazy fun as Canada, but a good 'un.
I'm not Hamiltons number one fan, but Alonso is just a dick.
