I've been sat in the garden since about 1530. Did a bit of catching up with my sister and then my Dad and I had a press up competition; the independant adjudicator was my sister - I won.
Now just listening to a bit of Tunng and reading about a 'music and arts festival' starting this year in my village which is being organized by the guy who runs the big chill, because he lives here.
what's all this about US residency? Do you burn in the sun Chris?
been quite good, but I had a base layer before Cyprus and now I'm actually have colour.
Erm, well I'm half American so want to make it official innit.
I have a fair amount of family there and my parents have big plans to move over there in 10 years time so I want to get it sooner rather than later.
I think I might actually fancy someone after about 4 years of nothing. I feel like a human.
That is quite shocking. Pics pls.
Are you well?
I'm cat sitting, waiting for the fat one to return so I can give him his injection (I'm a bit scared)
So bored, so jealous I'm not at Glasto and so full of pizza (I might go for a late night run once it's had chance to digest a bit)
Yup I'm okay thanks love. It's been a bit of a boring month, haven't been out much, been studying, have to hand my first TMA in by Sunday but after that I'm at least a month ahead, so, fun times ahoy! I'm thinking about going to Italy to this amazing venue to see some live Italian opera for my birthday next month which will more than make up for a dull June.
He just now came home as I got back from a run so I was trying to inject him with bad nerves and feeling shaky from lots of exercise today! Think it went well, just shoved some milk under his nose whilst I did it.
Whereabouts in Italy? I'd like to go to Italy sometime; I've been to Venice and Milan but I want to go to the countryside. When's your birthday?
I've been to Milan, I wasn't too impressed. I'd only really bother to go back for the opera, but prices for my birthday night are $380, which is just too much when you add on a hotel and flights.
So, I'm thinking of going here:
Verona is meant to be *the* best place in Italy to see opera.
Turandot is being performed on my birthday:
+ the classic we all know and love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr5vpHtJIlg
Rather than staying in Verona, I could stay in the Lake Garda area, which is approx 37 miles away:
I've come across what appears to be the best female soprano since Maria Callas this evening, which has made me very happy (as she's still performing). She's also extremely hot, which is nice to see. Divas4eva.
I am quite down for a million reasons. I've had the worst week and tonight has just made everything 10 times worse :( I'm completely alone and I don't know if I like it or not. I'm gonna try to have an early night though.
I don't really know what to say to that.
Do you have good things to look forward to? Think about them... :/
you have a fine grasp of the English language, good grammar, and you're not completely mental like this character:
I don't know what will
but yeah tough break, THE INTERNET CONSOLES YOU
If that makes sense.
why would streaming affect your download limit?
I dunno, find a proxy?
meaning I can't play youtube videos or watch 4od or summit.
More importantly I can't stream TVcatchup for Big Brother!
Strangely I can stream anything from the BBC website, so at least I can watch Gorillaz later.
fair use policy?
i have the weekend off work (a rarity), looking forward to drinking some beers tomorrow in the sun, just had some fajitas and i got paid today. winner!
on the downside, tonight i will mostly be watching james play red dead redemption and be reduced watching videos of funny animals on youtube to amuse myself. FRIDAY! Might make a spotify playlist.
that'd knock him off his kilter + provide the internet with entertaining updates.
a bus driver closed the doors in my face and my friends dad (who was dropping me off at the bus stop) went mental. then everyone on the bus and outside the pub by the bus stop started shouting at the driver to stop being a dickhead and let me on. there was a collective cheer when he finally did. I love people sometimes.
should go to sleep really.
I gotta stop doing this, but now with an MA complete I'm once more an unemployed man, free to yammer on about music to his heart's desolate content...
i'm annoyed with people who seem to be perpetually unable to keep their voice down even when it's very late at night and/or you're in a place where you don't want everyone to hear what you're talking about or that you're even talking at all
"funnily" enough "they" seem to be the same "people" who can never just say something like "yeah i can see how that would suck" but have to always say that you're being silly because it will sort itself out in no time.
I had an amazingly manly day. Went boxing and then went out afterwards for the first time with some of the lads from the gym. So much swearing and crude talk. My innocent middle class ears will never be the same :D
They are going to think on a good nickname for me. I bet its going to be something effeminate. Ive never had a proper nickname before. Exciting.
