What's worth seeing at this years Edinburgh Film Fest?
I normally always make sure I catch a few things. Last year though I saw nothing, and I felt a right chump when I realised, so I'm on top of it this year. Tickets on sale tomorrow and all, I'm currently considering:
My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done? (New Herzog, produced by David Lynch - clear choice)
Mundane History: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_oAJPfoBfo
Donkeys: (2nd Advance Party film after Red Road, can't find a trailer but pretty confident this should be good)
The Sentimental Engine Slayer: Omar Rodriguez Lopez's directorial debut. Not paid much attention to Mars Volta since De-Loused but he strikes me as a very creative individual, clip looks fairly interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZVrT_kB5bM
Skeletons: Not sure after watching this clip, interesting enough premise though : http://www.britfilms.tv/index.php?id=1501
Blank City: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y5xCjd0EWU
Lucky (new Jeffrey Blitz doc following lottery winners)
So, people who know more about cinema, anything else that is worth seeking out?
