my vote goes to Becker.
Just fuck off, Sullivan
it's not helped by personal associations
Every time I tell people this they seem so unimpressed. But it's weird, I tell you! Weird!
Perhaps I will look it up though.
He means Star Trek: Enterprise, by the way. The theme tune was picked shortly after 11th Sept 2001, I think. Or clearly its choice was influenced by that event.
Massive Attack in "trying to be all urban and trip-hoppy" surprise.
from Heligoland. Bloody brilliant as is Luther, although I do seem to be in the minority with that opinion..
Get the hell outta here. Now.
(unless it's changed since I last watched it 15 years ago, in which case you can stay)
It's only good because you can sing, "Home and Awayyyy, everyone's gaayyyyyyy!" over the top.
Manages to be as awful as the show itself.
Also personally hate most HBO show themes, notable exceptions being Thomas Newman's Six Feet Under title theme, David Schwartz' Deadwood title theme and that moody end theme from The Wire...
I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't refuse to put in a bloody DVD chapter mark at the end of them. Who the hell can comfortably power through an addictive series with upwards of 2.5 minutes of identical credits sequences to wade through EVERY TIME.
God knows how many viewers the BBC lost for Band of Brothers every week due to channel surfing through that credits sequence.
eh? just the start of that programme makes me want to destroy everyone involved. I wish a scorching case of haemerrhoids on dennis waterman!
Hollyoaks - any version. From the Steve/Matt/Dillon/Dan generic Ocean Colour Scene shuffle to, whatever it is now, the sound of kittens being stamped on. The world will end to the tune of this show.
Oh, any "wacky" saxophone music that's used for a comedy panel show bar Whose Line. Fuck the fuck off. I'll leave QI alone as someone here possibly sincerely said it was the greatest piece of music ever, which is wrong but I respect their opinion.
It's probably a fine piece of music on its own but what the hell is it doing on that show?
It just about works as method to smack you round the face but when you listen to it on the closing credits it sounds pretty duff.
perfectly suits imho, I really like the rough, in your face attitude of it.
But the music at the start of the little atoms podcast is the smuggest piece of music I've ever heard. Makes me angry every time. The rest of the podcast is usually good though.
Bom bom bom bommm... booooooommmmmm.
just before you start in with Another Brick in the Wall Part III?
Like the show but HATE the music.
