ive become a porker! is atkins really that bad for you?
STOP SWALLOWING ALL OF THE PENIS
i reccommend starting with a long course of antibiotics that make you feel horrible when you eat, and after that eat less, cut down on carbs A LOT and eat more vegetables. also i have started running again, religiously for half an hour/45 mins every day.
don't even think about the atkins, i read such horrible things about it, and it sounds dangerous and very very bad for your nutrition. just eat more vegetables and cut out fast food. it's simple.
all that weight loss, for nothing.
you loose some weight, feel good about yourself and then go and get mistaken for a man
its ok for girls to be fat. i was a little confused.
instead of just guessing from usernames
blownaload on the otherhand...
my plan is
*muesli for breakfast w.skimmed milk
*for lunch...fruit. maybe scrambled egg on wholemeal bread, or a low fat cheese spread on w.meal bread.
*then summit not really unhealthy, summit with a salad or veg, for dinner and a low fat yogurt for afters.
i think the thing is to cut out cheese, chocolate, loads of bread (i can't be rid of bread completely)and just general obviously bad food and take aways...alla that bollocks.
that and i've started jogging for about 10/15 mins per day (all i can manage for now)
if i can just jog every day and be strict about cutting out bad stuff, it must make a some difference over time.
just make sure it's wholemeal, because that's good for you.
I'd also recommend two different types of bread (found in most Tesco stores).
- Vogel (the packaging looks like something you might find on the shelf in a shop in the midst of an eastern block depression)
Both of which have lots of lovely seeds in them and also contain soya so have a high protein level.
you may be able to find this using a chart you might find on the internet.
Then once you know that you need to create a calorie defecit. The voila, along with sensible foods and regular exercise you will lose unwanted poundage.
Of course you don't need to do this, just cut the crap, increase the goods and do exercise.
it DOES work though, and it gives you some discipline.
Eat a big breakfast: huge bowl of cereal + banana or something.
Something carb-based for lunch - a LIGHT pasta salad. I had pasta + salmon + all other green shit for lunch today (bought, not made - I'm not that disciplined). As much as I'm addicted to it, bread does nothing for your energy levels, so avoid.
Another banana or yoghurt in the afternoon to bring your energy levels up again.
Can't tell you what to have for dinner, depends on your mood. Try to eat no later than 7pm though.
Weigh yourself every single day, otherwise you won't be able to track your progress and control what you eat for the rest of the week to avoid that 'oh fuck, I haven't lost a single pound' feeling. Weigh yourself post-morning dump before you eat or drink anything. Keep the scales in exactly the same place in your house too. Make sure the floor is even (1% of my floor is even, and that's where the scales live).
Have a huge bacon buttie weekly; important to have a treat.
If you've got a sweet tooth, get 70% cocoa chocolate and eat in small chunks. It's much more satisfying than shitty milk-chocolate based stuff and you really don't need as much. Keep it in the fridge - it makes it harder to just munch into.
Wash it all down with a bottle of wine or half a bottle of gin :)
I've got a PDF of the Atkins diet at work if you want it. It's 225 pages long or something fucking stupid like that. My stepdad lost 4 stone, my mum 2, and I lost 1 (I was the least overweight at the time, and now my mum looks like a skeleton).
drink lots and lots of cold bottled water. It will help alleviate hunger pangs.
I can't drink it where I live; I've got a concrete plant 50 steps away and it's skankily obvious in the water.
Don't do it every day. It'll fuck you up. Do it weekly. Steady, long lasting weight loss ain't gonna happen at more than a couple of pounds a week for most ('normal', non-20st darts players) folk.
Water - Chilled (filtered if need be) tap water at home > bottled water.
A butty a week as a treat - Good call. It gives you the strength to knock back the naughties.
At the end of the day though, it's about the exercise innit. Once you exercise, the body kicks into action and you don't feel so inclined to eat too much crap cos there's that feeling of not wanting to undo your good work.
it`s pretty easy to follow and if done right you won`t need another diet
