There there cous cous.
Often wrongly derided as a bland leftie moody alternative to rice cous cous has it's strengths the main ones being the speed and ease of cooking it and the fact it goes with a lot of things.
The Friday Cous Cous Recipe
Dice a red onion and mix it with some cous cous and the juice of a lemon
Pour in some chicken or veggie stock (enough to just cover it) and leave for 10 minutes
Then mix in some chopped tomatoes (2 or 3), some chopped parsely and corriander, some lemon zest, some olive oil, some crumbled feta and finally a bit of salt and pepper.
You have just made yourself a cous cous treat. Well done.
