2 in coffee for me and 1 in tea. Anyone who has more than 1 sugar in tea, well...

and i don't drink coffee i find the foul taste stays in my mouth forever.

none in coffee, though sometimes i go a bit mental and put a spoonful in just for a tasty coffee treat. MOSTLY I DON'T THOUGH.

The thought of drinking coffee with no sugar is an impossibility
and black coffee with no sugar pls.
I didn't want to be first one to admit to being two sugarer and incur the gentle wrath of a thousand DiS greyshirts.
Tea on its own is like listening to music through supplied headphones, like watching the latest Michael Bay on a mobile phone screen, like witnessing a beautiful sunset with sunglasses on. Sugar. Taste the rainbow.
I used to be 1.5, but found myself becoing increasingly OCD about the fact that when others made my tea, they only ever managed to do something approximating 1.25 or 1.75 (the latter being preferable). So, in the end I decided to tell people I'd have 2 sugars and now my taste buds have developed accordnigly.
I gave up coffee yesterday, but would normally also have 2. I think that giving up coffee is going to make me grumpy but will make my teeth whiter and I will spew less.
Of course it doesn't. (let me persevere with this self-deception, cheers).
By not drinking it, i'm almost certain that the spewing will stop :) Hey, I'm 2 days in and.... no spewing, (even despite being a rum tester last night).

and it makes me grind me teeth, like I'm on a bad E. (only after 7 or 8 cups though).

(apart from the bit where she said, 'you're probably just about on the verge of psychological burnout'.) But in terms of physical health, I'm tiptop. Liver function- excellent. No more anaemia, my imagined lactose intolerance is precisely that (hurrah. unlimited cheese), and the cataids seems to be in remission too. I'm basically just intolerant to more than one or two cups of coffee as it seems to make me produce too much stomach acid and I get nauseous very quickly. (THIS IS A NICE CONVERSATION). I kind of want to die at the thought of no more macchiato or espresso, but I can totally live without filter coffee pish.
Try it with three little pots of UHT cream in like I do. Or with Coffee Mate. That should keep the aciIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDs at bay.
In fact, i hate any kind of thick milk- it makes my teeth itch. See, I told you I was bloody lactose intolerant. What does that doctor know?

I think I want to start drinking coffee again. This sounds amazing.
Except if I'm hungover - in which case, two.

tea is best enjoyed white with no sugar, however everytime i'm hungover it tastes delightful with upto 5 sugars, to help fill my sugar deficit from all the alcohol the previous night.
I can drink it with sugar in, though.
and sometimes just some teeth itching sweeteners.

Sometimes none, sometimes half, sometimes a huge spoonful. I also take my coffee really strong and black but forget and have decaff with milk sometimes. I am a capricious one with my caffeine.
I like it best really strong, a huge sugar, with a shot of rum and some lemon zest.
Tea should be amber, almost rusty coloured.
of skimmed milk. But anything that's too creamy, URGH. It's just wrong in tea. I get very upset by bad teamaking.
This reminds me, I boiled the kettle about half an hour ago. It's my turn to make the tea and impose my tea-tastes on the rest fo the team :)

First thing I do when I take over this gaff is get Scottish blend teabags. PG tips isn't rough enough.

just dunk a baby in a pot of warmish water a couple of times, you dont want the water too hot as itll scald the baby and spoil the taste.
Heat the brew in a microwave before adding the milk.
As weird as it sounds, this is entirely true (actually, I had tea from a vicar once).
Poof tea - honey and a little water thanks.
Coffee - black and 2 or 3 depending upon the size of the cup.
I'm tempted to tell you something that will BLOW YOUR MIND and turn your worldview upside down.
Adding a little cold water after the brew has been made to reduce the overall temperature to an acceptable and usable level. Cold water being used in much the same way that milk is used by many many other tea drinkers.
I do hope that this clarification is satisfactory.
