Yeah, it's the family home so tax/council/all that I don't have to worry about. But still, even though I'm obviously pitching in with the moving effort alongside my parents and the movers etc, any DiSers got specific advice on stuff to clear up before changing location? Any easily forgettable things caught people out who have recently moved? Is there a method of telling people I've changed location that's generally accepted as useful? And more to the point actually, what essentials should I be updating with a new address? I've never had to do this before with any impetus on myself (last time we moved it was 1994) so I'm a bit lost.

Also: anyone know of anywhere good in Acton? Little pubs, bars, venues, cool spots etc. I'm not expecting a huge amount, as it is Acton.
